“The Unloved Heart and the Blue Soul”

My heart is as bitter as the bitterness of black coffee.

I am like a lost soul wishing to be set free.

I lay in bed and stare at the ceiling,

Hoping to get rid of this dark, empty feeling.

The clock goes tick-tock as time goes by.

I reminisce the memories and try not to cry.

The sun shines in the sky with joy and gladness,

While my heart aches with pain and sadness.

When I woke up, I saw rain pouring down.

The clouds were dark, and they put up a frown.

I went outside and stood under the rain,

Thinking that I can find comfort for my pain.

Alas, the rain kept pouring harder and harder.

My soul felt like it's getting dragged farther and farther.

Then finally, my body fell onto the ground.

I closed my eyes, never woke up or heard another sound.
