The Hourglass

"The Hourglass"

Time is always moving, it never stops,

But if it ever does, everything will drop.

The One above is in charge of all

Those whose time is up will fall

Not concerning if their success was big or small.

Things happen for a reason.

It won't help if you sign a safety petition.

Everyday the population goes up and down.

In funerals, people cry and frown,

While others go shopping around town.

The sands are trickling one by one.

Is your life complete? Are your goals done?

Time that's lost cannot be reclaimed.

Even if you change and have been tamed,

Your past actions will remain the same.

A second equals a grain;

Time flies fast like a bullet train.

Act fast, join in, and run.

Use your time wisely on when to have fun

Or else it's game over, and you're done.
