“Rise from the Ashes”

I remember the time when everything went bad.
I simply lost all the things that I had.
The world suddenly turned its back at me.
It was very unpleasant, as you can see.

Thinking again about those memories of pain
Is like letting the negativity inside of you gain.
Those past times were full of sad rain,
But thank God there are memories that are sane.

I want to forget the bad memories I had kept.
I can do that; I am so sure that I can bet.
Remember that the past has passed--it is done.
The old, bitter times, they are gone.

It is now time to think ahead
For the future that lies afar like a thread.
Plan wisely; think thrice before you act.
I know it's only twice, but it's still a fact.

Remember to always do your best.
Pray to God also, and He'll help with the rest.
Look at the time, it is now late at night.
Sleep tight, dear, and don't let the bed bugs bite.
