7. Already Counting Down

Vanessa's POV:
I wake up and throw one of my pillows at Cameron who is asleep on the other sofa.
He jumps up and attacks me with tickles.

"Stop!"

I laugh, out of breath.
He backs off and walks into the kitchen.

"Where ya going?!"

"I need food!"

"Aw can't we get Starbucks on our way to drop you off?"

Cameron's face lights up like a little kid.
He jumps around with excitement and goes to the bathroom to get changed.
I run up to my room and put on a T with black shorts and a checked shirt as well as, my black cap and converse. (Image)

Its a pretty casual look since I'm not actually doing much.
Starbucks is only two minutes from my house but Cam needs his car so we drive there.
We both order and sit down.
It is ten minuets until Cam has to leave again.
A tear drops down my cheek.

"Cam I'm gunna miss you so much"

"I know V... Hey in six months I will come back okay?"

"Six months!?"

"That's how long it is till this tour section ends and then after I've seen my mom and that"

"Oh right, okay I guess"

He looks at me and wipes my tear from my cheek.

"It's like  twenty-four weeks; you can manage that right sis?"

I nod and get up to hug him.
We stay in the hug for a while and then it is time for him to go.
As he drives off I wave good bye and start counting down the days until he comes back.
