8. What If

2months later

Shawn's POV:
Today is the release of my album 'Handwritten.' I am so excited and anxious.
I know my fans will support me but, this could make or break my career.
There is one song that I am particularly worried about everyone's reaction it's called
'I Don't Even Know Your Name.'
For one, I don't know how the fans will react about a song for one of them I guess and two, I have no clue if the girl it's about will hear it and know that it is about her.

Vanessa's POV:
It's about a four months until I get to see Cam.
The tour has finished and he is with my aunt for a bit.
I can't wait to see him again.

Today I am hanging with Isabelle and Alexis (Alex.)
They are my best friends and both of them are obsessed with Magcon.
It is slightly weird for me obviously with Cameron being like a brother to me  and him being totally crushed on by my best friends.
It is just awkward. Still it is pretty amusing.
I drag myself out of bed and into the shower.
I wash my hair and put it into a French braid. I pull on some shorts and my squad jumper.

Is and Alex come rushing into my room.

"Hey, your mom let us in"

Isabelle says grinning ear to ear like the Cheshire Cat.

"Now please say you have heard Shawn's new album"

Alex squeals jumping onto my bed. I give her a look to say, we have been through this before. No.
Alex looks at me with disappointment. If there is one thing that tops Magcon for her it is Shawn's music.

"I thought we had raised you better"

She jokes rolling her eyes at me.

"Oh my god, you have to play her 'I don't even know your name'!"

I raise one eyebrow at them as Alex plugs her phone into my speaker.
They play the song and it's pretty good.
Shawn does have an amazing voice.

"It's about someone he saw in tour!"

Isabelle squeals jumping up and down like a five year old.
Alex meanwhile lays down on my bed.

"Ugh I wish it was about me."

Then both of their eyes shoot towards me like lasers.
I feel my cheeks begin to burn up.

"Can I help you?.."

"OMG, what if it's about you?!"

Alex speaks in a serious tone of voice.
I laugh, in her face.

"yeah right!"

"We are serious"

Their response is in eerie unison.

"You are crazy"

I stand up and grab my car keys.

"Starbucks?"
