15. Is it Crazy?

Shawn's POV:
Since this isn't my home town or even home country I had to ask Cam for some good spots to take Vanessa.
One really stuck out to me.

I drive us to a place that looks over the town.
When we arrive, Vanessa's face lights up.
I get out of the car and open her door.

"Shawn, this is amazing. Thank you."

I feel my cheeks getting hotter. We are standing side by side and slowly I reach my hand out towards hers.
She accepts my gesture and our fingers intertwine.
I turn to look at her and she looks at me.

"Vanessa, may I ..."

She cuts me off by placing her tender lips onto mine.

"Yes you may"
she says pulling away with a smile.

We stay to watch the sun set laying on the hood of the car.
As it gets colder I go to the boot and grab a blanket.
I then go back over to Vanessa and wrap it around her shoulders. She smiles at me and then, once I sit back down, lays her head on my chest.
I feel my heart beating heavier as goosebumps cover my body.
Is it crazy that I'm already so in love with this girl?

We lay in comfortable silence as the stars come out before getting back into the car.

I start to drive back to Vanessa's and feel her hand rest on my leg.
I am grinning the rest of the way home.
By the time we get back to Vanessa's it's pretty late.
We go inside and Cam has fallen asleep on the sofa.
We don't disturb him and head upstairs. Vanessa sleeps in her moms room and I stay in hers.

"Night Shawn"

She smiles shutting her bedroom door.
