Meeting with Maia

I woke up feeling someone's arms around me. I looked up and saw a familiar head of blonde hair and gasped. We fell asleep together? This is amazing, it was like all my dreams were coming true. I smiled to myself and enjoyed the company of my sleeping best friend.

I grabbed my phone and silently turned it on and checked twitter. I saw quite a few tweets and other stuff, including the picture Ross tagged me in of our 'selfie' from last night. However, there was one tweet that I thought looked unfamiliar.

@maiamitch Meeting up with two of Disney's beloved duos @rossr5 and @lauramarano on @radiodisney today! Really excited!

Ugh. An interview? With Maia? I thought this day was only going to get better, but I guess not. I slowly got out of Ross' hold and he slowly opened his eyes, still half asleep. "Where are you going," he asked, as if he didn't want me to leave. "Just to get ready for Radio Disney with Maia today," I replied causally. "Oh you guys have an interview together? That's cute," he said. I chuckled to myself. He had no clue either. "Ross, the interview is with Maia, you, and me," I said, laughing at his ignorance.

Ross' eyes grew wide. He knew he had completely forgotten and he needed to get ready. He flung out of bed and ran out of the room. "MOM, EMERGENCY. I HAVE AN INTERVIEW TODAY AND I NEED MY HAIR DONE TO PERFECTION. GET THE COMB, IT'S A DOOSEY THIS MORNING," Ross yelled down the hallway. I killed myself laughing. I honestly couldn't believe he cared so much about his hair.

He walked back in and noticed me laughing. He smirked. "What? It takes a lot of work to get this looking perfect," he said gesturing to his hair. I just kept laughing, I honestly couldn't stop. He walked over to me and pulled me into a playful headlock. "Watch yourself Marano, you wouldn't want to get hurt, would you?" Ross asked, smirking. I just laughed in response. Boy did I make the wrong move.

Ross flipped me onto the floor and I wailed in pain. He suddenly looked alarmed. "Oh no Laur, I'm sorry I didn-" "GOTCHA," I yelled flipping him onto the ground and getting up. He folded his arms across his muscular chest and half smiled and half glared at me. "Well played Marano, well played," Ross said sarcastically.

"ROSS, LETS GO. I DON'T HAVE ALL MORNING TO DO YOUR HAIR," Stormie called out. Ross silently whispered yes under his breath and ran out of the room but quickly stuck his head back in the room and said "You better look nice Laur, after all you are my fake girlfriend after all," Ross said and winked then running out of the room. I was going to look nice, but not because I was Ross' fake girlfriend, but because I want to impress him.

I hop out of the shower and dry my hair. I look at my long brown highlighted hair and contemplate what to do with it. I decide on classic Laura hair; Firm curls with simple hairspray. After that I pull out my makeup bag that I brought along to the sleepover and started applying mascara and light eye shadow. After my eye makeup is finished I apply blush to my cheeks and pink glossy lip gloss.

I pick a pink tank top and throw crop top over it along with white denim jeans with my yellow converse which was my intended outfit for today anyways. I looked casual, but also extremely pretty. Beat that Maia

Ross and I walked into the Radio Disney studio with his arm wrapped around me. Maia approached us with a smile, but it soon faded.

"Hey Guys! Wait, am I missing something here?" She asked, clearly confused. I wanted to say something but Ross beat me to it. "We're dating," Ross said casually. It almost hurt how casually he said it, no matter how fake this was. "Oh, well um, congrats? I'm not really sure what to say," Maia stammered. Why was she disappointed? Ross sure noticed. "Why the long face Maia?" He asked. "I- I don't know. I guess I kind of liked you and then you show up here telling me that you two are a thing," she sighed. You've got to be kidding. Ross' eyes lit up. This can't be happening. Why me? Just when things were getting some what okay, this happens.

"Everything okay Laura?" Ross asked.  I'm done lying. I'm definitely not okay. Without thinking I turned around and ran away from 'Raia' without giving it a second thought. I swear I heard Ross calling my name, but I didn't want to look back. I'm done with faking. I love Ross, but all he'll ever love is Maia. I closed and locked the closet door I had just entered. I saw some cords sticking out of the wall. They looked sharp. I picked them up and slid them across my skin. I let out a stifled cry,and repeated the process. That is, until the door started to become unlocked....
