-Laura-

He looked up at me with big eyes. I immediately knew what I had done wrong. Shit. "Laura?" Ross stuttered. I had to cover this one up. I acted confused. "Uhm, no my name is Marie," I quickly covered up. Ross raised his eyebrow. "No, that's your middle name," he says pointing his fork at me. After that long year he still knew me too well to be able to fall for this.

"No, Marie is my first name," I spoke. Ross stood up, which made me a little scared. He walked over to me and stared into my eyes. "Yep, you're definitely Laura," he smirked. He looked at me, waiting for a response. Tears started falling from my eyes. I ran up the stairs and into the bathroom. He can't remember who I am, he just can't!

"Laura, open up," Ross demanded.

I miss his voice so much. Him caring so much about me. I miss that so much. But I can't have it back. I'm not letting him back into my life. No way.

"LAURA, PLEASE OPEN THE GOD DAMN DOOR," Ross yelled from the other side. I smirked, because normally I would give in, but not today. I'm different. The smirk left my face when I heard something. Ross was singing. He was singing an old style R5 song...

Tear drops in your hazel eyes

I can't believe I made you cry

It feels so long, since we went wrong

But you're still on my mind

Never meant to break your heart,

Sometimes things just fall apart,

So here's one night,

To make it right, before we say goodbye

So wait up, wait up,

Give me one more chance

To make up, make up

I just need one last dance.

I let the tears fall down my face. I knew he was going to find a way to get to me. Why did I let him? "Laura, please," he begged. I stayed still. I fought what I really wanted. He wasn't going to get in here. Boy was I wrong.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I heard the door being picked at with some sort of bobby pin or something. I sighed. He burst in and looked down on me. He smiled.

"You know, picking locks is something I'm extremely good at now," he smirked. I looked up at him with an un mused look on my face. "Good for you," I said blankly and stared at my shoes. Ross sat down beside me and sighed. "How long have we been neighbors," he asked. "Six months," I said, still with no expression. Confusion began to register on his face. "Didn't we invite you over for din-" "Yep," I answered his question.

"Did you even come?" Ross asked. "Nope," I answered blankly. "Was it bec-" "Yep," I answered for him again. "I'm so sorry Laur, but if you give me a chance to explain everything I ca-" I cut him off. "No explaining needed. You don't need to say another word," I say and get up and run out of the house.

And I don't plan on stopping.

Yes I can hear him calling my name, but it doesn't matter anymore. We're different. We've both changed.

And maybe not for the good.

A/N->cliffhanger! Sorta hehe! Anyways, what do you think Ross will do? Will he ever retain their friendship? Will he ever re kindle what they had? Spoiler alert (even though you probably already noticed) Laura wants nothing to do with Ross, but he can't stand that. What's gonna happen???

I don't know!

Just jokes yes I do!

Love you all,
