Part 16

   "I was just thinking, if I was able to help you two realize that what you guys were doing was wrong, maybe I could do the same with the other guys," I said.
   "That's insane," Mini replied.
   "Why do you say that?"
   "The only reason you were able to help us was because we weren't as far gone as the others."
   "Mini has a point," Moo spoke up. "The other guys enjoy beating others up, unlike Mini and I. The only reason we're still a part of that group is because we're scared of what they'll do to us if we try to leave."
   "Well I at least have to try and help them see reason," I replied.
   "Moo! Mini! Where are you?" Someone from outside the library yelled.
  "Oh no," Moo said, worry laced his voice.
  "Hide," Mini said as he pushed me into a small closet. The closet was a pretty good size. It had enough room for two people with the addition of multiple stacks of books inside.
   "What? Why?" I asked.
   "I'll explain later," Mini shut the closet door right before the library doors flung open.
   "There you retards are! Vanoss wants you," said someone who I think was Wildcat.
   "Oh yeah alright," Moo said, obviously a little bit scared.
   "Have either of you seen (Y/N)? Delirious is skipping this morning so Vanoss made it my job to find her, but to be honest I suck at finding people."
"So that's why I haven't seen Delirious today," I thought.
   "No, not recently," Mini said.
   "All right, well you guys should go see what Vanoss wants before he gets pissed."
   "And what are you going to be doing?" Moo asked.
  "Find (Y/N) like Vanoss ordered duh," Wildcat sneered. I heard the door open and close again. I breathed a sigh of relief and was about to open the closet door when I heard Wildcat's voice again. "Alright (Y/N) where are you? I've searched everywhere but this library. If you come out now I promise we won't hurt you as much." I shrunk back as far as I could in the closet.
CRASH
   I knocked over some of the books.
  "Crap!" I thought "Nice job giving away your position (Y/N)!" The door swung open to show Wildcat grinning like the Cheshire Cat.
  "Gotcha," he said as he picked me up. "Wow you're light!" I took my chances and kicked him right in the junk. It was effective but it didn't really get me on his good side. "You b****!" he yelled in pain as he crumpled to the floor. I bolted out of the library and down the hall.
   "Where do I go?" I thought. As I was lost in thought on how I was going to escape the enraged Wildcat I ran into someone, taking us both to the ground.
   "Sorry," I said as I got up.
   "Someone's in a hurry," the person I ran into chuckled as they got up.
  "Heh yeah I kinda kicked Wildcat in the balls..."
  "Do you have a death wish or something? What made you think that was a good idea!"
  "Well it was kind of the only way I could escape from him so..."
  "(Y/N)!" Wildcat yelled as he stormed towards us.
  "And that's my cue to run. See you around, that is if I'm not killed!" I yelled as I sprinted the other way. I ran out of the main building and towards the back of the gym. I turned the corner to come face to face with the Vanoss crew. "Well that's just perfect!" I thought.
  "Gotcha!" Wildcat yelled as he grabbed me from behind.
  "Let me go!" I screamed.
  "After what you did to me in the library? No way!"
  "And what is it that she did exactly?" Vanoss asked confused about what he was screaming about.
  "The b**** kicked me in the balls!" Everyone started laughing like crazy at the thought of the 5'7" girl kicking the 6'5" boy in the junk. I noticed that Moo and Mini were on the floor dying from laughter. "Whatever," Wildcat said grumpily as he threw me to the ground.
"What do you want?" I asked, annoyance laced my words.
"I'm bored," Vanoss shrugged.
"If you're gonna bully me at least have a reason."
"Alright then how about this, you're our new play thing and you have to do everything we tell you to do."
"And what makes you think I'd ever agree to that?" I said standing up.
"What are your little friends names again? Jaiden, Lizzie, and Jess right? I wonder how they'll feel when they become our new targets all because of you."
"Leave them out of this!" I yelled I went to punch him, but I was held back by Basically and Nogla.
"All you have to do is agree to my terms and they'll be left alone," Vanoss said sweetly. Minutes of silence passed until I finally spoke.
"Fine," I said looking at the ground.
"Good," Vanoss smirked. Nogla and Basically let me go and I fell to my knees.
"What have I gotten myself into." I thought. Vanoss knelt down in front of me and lifted my chin so that we could look at each other face to face.
"No more running away, no more friends guarding you, you do what we say from now on, got it?"
"Y-yes," I said hesitantly.
"Good. Now get out of my sight." Vanoss sneered. I got up and went back to the main building, tears threatening to fall. I walked through the door as the bell rang.
"Time to head to class," I thought. "Maybe art class will be my escape from the crew."
  I decided to text my mom on the way to class about Jess' sleepover.

(M=mom Y=you)

Y- Hey mom my friend Jess is having a sleepover tonight. Can I go?

M- I'm fine with that. Have a great rest of your school day! 😘 Love you!

Y- Love you too!

   "Well at least one good thing happened so far today," I thought. I entered the art room and sat down at one of the tables in the back corners of the class. Today has been horrible and I just want to disappear at this point.
   "Alright everyone, the principal would like all of you to go to the auditorium for an announcement," said Ms. Delphine sweetly. We all stood up and made our way to the auditorium.
  "Hey (Y/N)!" Jaiden yelled as she caught up with me. "Are you able to come over to Jess' house tonight?"
  "Yep!" I exclaimed. Jaiden and I talked and laughed all the way to the auditorium.
  "Where should we sit?" Jaiden asked.
  "Hmm, I don't know," I replied.
  "(Y/N)!" Someone yelled. I scanned the room to find who was calling me. I soon saw Mini waving at me as a sign for me to sit with him and the crew.
  "I... I have to go," I said.
  "What? Why?" Jaiden was obviously confused on what was happening.
  "I'll explain later just trust me please." I walked over to the Vanoss crew. "What do you guys want?" I asked, trying to stay patient.
  "You're going to sit with us," Basically said obviously annoyed at the decision.
  "Ugh, fine," I sighed as I reluctantly sat down. Mini sat on my right and Moo sat on my left. "At least I feel safer with these two sitting next to me," I thought. I look behind me at the entrance and saw Jaiden standing there talking with Jess, Lizzie, Jack, Dan, and Phil. They were looking at me, worry written on their faces. I took out my phone and started a group chat.

(Y=you, Ja=Jaiden, Je=Jess, L=Lizzie, J=Jack, D=Dan, P=Phil)

Y- Hey guys.

J- (Y/N) what the heck are you doing sitting with them!

Y- I know I'll explain everything later.

P- Are you okay?

D- Did they hurt you?

Y- I'm fine guys.

Ja- Then why are you with them?

Y- I said that I'd explain everything later.

Je- Explain at my slumber party

J- What about us guys?

Je- you guys can come for the party part 😋

Y- Alright I'll explain at Jess' party.

  "Be vague," Mini said bluntly.
  "What?" I asked.
  "When you tell them." He replied "Just be some what vague on how we black mailed you."
  "Alright." I said. The lights started to flicker, signaling that the principal was about to speak.

A/N- Hey guys! Thanks for reading! Sorry if the chapter was bad I currently have both food poisoning and a really bad stomach bug at the same time. 😣 I've thrown up every time I've eaten something, my body is in constant pain, and I have a REALLY bad migraine, but a lot of you really wanted the next chapter so I thought 'Sure why not I have nothing better to do." Turns out I have to present a speech tomorrow... yeah I probably should have been writing that instead of this... oh well! Anyways, I hoped you guys enjoyed!
