Part 21

I sprinted the rest of the way home, tear falling from my eyes. I burst through the door and slammed it shut. My mom looked up from the book she was reading and ran up to me.
"(Y/N), what happened?" she asked. "Oh no... did you?" I nodded my head as more tears fell. "Is anyone seriously injured?"
"N-no," I replied.
"Good,"
"I'm gonna go to bed now." I quickly made my way to my room and locked my door. I curled up into a ball, under my covers. "I should probably tell Jess I'm not coming back," I thought. I picked up my phone and texted her.

Y- Hey Jess. I'm not gonna be able to come back... please bring my stuff to school on Monday. Thanks

J- Okay :( I hope everything goes well with your family! <3

I let out a sigh and hid under my blankets again.

~~~~~~~~Delirious' POV~~~~~~~~

"Should we go after her?" Moo asked, his face filled with sorrow.
"No," I answered. "If you guys ever want her to calm down and not snap again then she needs to be alone right now."
"How do you know so much about what's going on Delirious?" Mini questioned. "How did you know what to do in order to calm her down?" I stayed silent.
"Delirious," I turned to see Vanoss glaring at me. "What the h*** do you know about what just happened?" I sighed.
"How do guys not get it?"
"Get what Delirious?" Basically chimed in.
"I got that that b**** is a psycho," Wildcat grumbled.
"You guys are idiots," I sighed. "You broke her! Happy? You brought (Y/N) to her breaking point and she finally snapped!" They stared at me, confused.
"How did you know what to do to bring her back?" Lui asked. I stayed silent.
"Delirious, talk to us," Nogla said.
"It doesn't matter," I answered looking at the ground.
"It does matter Delirious," Vanoss growled. "Tell us." I looked at my phone hoping that I'd get a notification to use as a way to leave the situation. Thankfully, my prayers were answered. I quickly opened my phone and pretended to read a text.
"I have to go." I quickly walked away from them hoping that they wouldn't follow.
"Delirious!" Wildcat screamed.

~~~~~~~(Y/N)'s POV~~~~~~~

It's been over a week since the incident. I refuse to leave my bedroom. My mom leaves food outside my door and talks to me through the door. I wish I could control my anger better. I hate this!

*tap* *tap*

I lifted my head to see what was making that noise but saw nothing, so I covered my face again.

*tap* *tap*

I looked up again and saw nothing. Must be a bird or something.

*tap* *tap* *tap*

Okay, that's it! I got on my knees and opened the window.
"Finally!" a masked figure exclaimed as they appeared in the window. I screamed and fell backwards, off of my bed. "Are you okay?" they asked.
"I'm fine," I sighed, covering my face. "What do you want Delirious? I thought I told you to stay away."
"The principal assumed we were friends and gave me the task of bringing you your missing work," he answered as he pulled out a stack of papers from his backpack, and put it on my desk.
  "You could have knocked on the door like a normal person."
  "But then I wouldn't have gotten to see you," he replied stretching out his hand and helped me up.
  "Why are you being nice to me?" I asked.
"Because I know how you are feeling right now," he said staring me dead in the eyes.
"What?" He sighed and sat down on my bed.
"I know what it's like to snap," he began, looking at the ground."I know how terrible it feels. (Y/N), I truly am sorry we brought you to that point." Delirious looked up at me which his beautiful blue eyes filled with sorrow. I sat down next to him.
  "I forgive you Delirious," I said giving him a small smile. I saw relief flood his eyes. He threw his arms around me and pulled me into a hug, resting his chin on my shoulder.
  "Thank you," he whispered.
  "For what?" I asked, returning the hug.
  "For not hating me. I thought that after everything we did to you, you would never forgive us. I mean other that Mini and Moo that is," he let out a little chuckle. I pulled away from the hug, shocked.
  "How did you know about that?"
  "I can tell by the way you three act," he answered laughing. "Well I should probably get going. I'll see you later
(Y/N)." Delirious stood up and climbed out the window.
"Bye Delirious," I said, waving. He waved back and began to walk down the street. I shut my window and curled back up on my bed, smiling.

(A/N)- Hey guys! Sorry this chapter is a little short. I really want to start on a new book, but I also refuse to abandon this book, plus I also have another book that I haven't updated in awhile that I really want to work on, so I'm trying to make do with the free time I have. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter!
