Umakyat kami sa grandstaircase at pumasok sa elevator. Tumigil kami after ilang floors at dalawang security personnel ang sumalubong at bumati sa amin.
"Crypto Vault, please?" sabi ni Quinn sa security personnel. Tumango lang ang security guard at nilagyan kami ng bluish glow in the dark bracelet.
"Para saan to?" tanong ko kay Quinn habang naglalakad kami sa corridors. If I am not mistaken, around five doors with state of the art high tech security system na ang nadaanan namin.
"Lahat ng pumupunta sa Crypto Vault ay nilalagyan ng GPS tracker for monitoring purposes."
"Ano ba meron sa Crypto Vault? It sounds mysterious and creepy at the same time."
"Mga long lost treasures na hindi mo na mahahanap sa real world. We are here," sabi ni Quinn sabay hawak sa mga kamay ko.
Pagkabukas ng pinto, isang mala musuem na room ang nakita ko. May iba't ibang paintings, jewelries at antique stuffs na naka enclosed sa loob ng fiber glass box. I was amazed sa dami ng mga lost treasures na nasa Crypto Vault, but something specific caught my eye. May isang white diamond medallion na kamukha ng binigay sa akin ni Lola Helda ang nasa loob ng glass box.
"Is that the..."
"Yes, that is the White Diamond Medallion of Magawen. It is said that only four of these medallions are existing in this world. The other one is with a Red Ruby stone. Another one is a Yellow Sapphire and the fourth one is..."
"A Blue Aquamarine medallion?" tanong ko kay Quinn.
"How did you know?"
"Easy. Primary colors lang. Red for fire, Yellow for earth, White for Wind and Blue for Water. Is that right?"
"I am impressed, you are a very smart girl. Can I fall in love with you right now?" biro niyang tanong sabay lapit ng mukha niya sa mukha ko na parang hahalikan niya ako.
"No, Mr. Handsome Vampire!" natatawa kong sagot sabay lagay ng kamay ko sa mukha niya para ilayo niya sa akin.
"No one can decline the charms of this handsome vampire unless you're already in love with someone else," seryoso niyang sabi habang niyaya ako papunta sa Yellow Sapphire medallion.
"Wag natin pagusapan ang lovelife ko. Ilan medallion ang nasa loob ng Cypto Vault?"
"Just two. The earth and wind. The blue and red one is missing."
"Matthias told me that Magawen is supposed to steal the white diamond medallion para malift ang Curse of Darkness. Impossible ata niya mapasok to."
"Magawen is gone. She's now Mistress Margaux. She's a known thief in the vampire world at kaya niya magbypass ng kahit matinding security. Somehow kung gagawin niya yun, there's a small chance na mananakaw niya ang medallion."
"Four medallions? Para saan ang mga yan?"
"We don't know but some ancient ruined temple in Mexico shows that these medallions are kind of lock and keys. They are locking something and they are the means to open it."
"Locking something evil?"
"The white diamond medallion is already powerful enough. Four medallions are indeed possessing too much power. So tama ka. I'm also betting it's something evil that is meant to be locked forever."
"Kahit pala ang handsome vampire seemed to be uneasy with this kind of topic."
"Amber, it scares the hell out of me. I may be handsome and powerful but these things are beyond us."
