Chapter 19 ~ First Day At War

Zoella's POV
We were lining up in our groups ready to get checked off to check that we were all still here. I saw the anxious face of my good friend Colleen. We did a 7 second challenge video together, but Colleen appeared in it as Miranda which made it pretty unfair. I didn't mind though as we had an amazing time recording it.

Colleen's POV
I was looking around when mine and Zoella's eyes met in an understanding stare. It was horrible that this could be the last time we saw each other in person.

Jimmy's POV
I may never appear as Solidarity again. That thought scared me a little but I had to stay strong and try to stay strong for my 21k subscribers. I only hit 21k yesterday aswell.

3rd person POV
'Okay! So now you will all set off in your groups every 5 minutes! It will be a line of groups, with gaps between each group. Group one will go first!' an official person shouted. Group one set off throughout Madagascar. They looked nervous, but also confident.

Ash's POV
I vlogged my first few minutes walking and in them few minutes, I said who was in my group. We all agreed to vlog most days to share our journey while also being respectful. I skyped Izzy every day, sometimes twice a day. Being in different time zones didn't affect our love for each other. I know that Nicole and Squid did the same thing. Izzy and Nicole were both living together for the time we were away at war so that they could comfort each other. We didn't do that much on our first day but we did arrive at an underground base. All of the other groups were in bases around us in a 90 meter range.

Sqaishey's POV
I vlogged for Sqaishey Extra. I didn't particularly want to vlog, but I needed some kind of content for my fans. I did respect the situation though, but I wanted to keep my fans updated on how me, my friends and others were doing, mentally and physically. At the end of a long day of walking, while carrying fighting equipment (guns, knives, bullets, medical kits etc) we arrived at an underground base. The other groups were within 90 meters away from us, all in separate bases. I couldn't wait for Nicole to come, but I felt bad that she was risking her life to be there if Squid, the love of her life, died.
