Sara's POV:

Walking back to the car, I was numb. Harry was really leaving. I got Elizabeth situated in her car seat and got into the driver's seat. I started the engine and pulled out of the parking lot, heading home.

Once home, I shut off the engine. I took a shaky breath. I was on my own to take care of Elizabeth and myself. I got out of the car and opened the door where Elizabeth's car seat was. I unbuckled her, took her in my arms and went inside the house.

Since Elizabeth was sleeping, I took her into the nursery and laid her down in her crib.

"It's just you and me now," I sighed.

I walked out of the nursery with a baby monitor in hand. I cleaned up the house, seeing as it hadn't really been cleaned since before Elizabeth was born. After a couple of hours, the house was spotless.

I had no idea how I was going to last three months. I couldn't really get a job because I had to take care of Elizabeth. I didn't really do much for myself. I used to write and play piano, but I hadn't since high school.

At dinner time, I ordered a pizza. I couldn't cook to save my life, which was why I loved having Harry. He was an amazing cook and never complained about preparing all of our meals. I was going to need a lot of help to make it through the next three months.

Once I ate my dinner of water and pizza, I put the leftovers in the fridge. I woke Elizabeth up to feed and change her. I took her downstairs with me and turned on the TV. I watched a few reruns of Friends before putting Elizabeth in her crib for the night.

Life without Harry is lonely. I came to realize that very quickly. If he were home, we would've been watching something on Netflix or planning the wedding or just talking.

I went to bed pretty early. I woke up at about midnight to my phone ringing.

"Hello?" I answered, sitting up.

"Hi, beautiful," Harry said. "Did I wake you up?"

I smiled. Just hearing his voice was enough to brighten my mood.

"Yeah you woke me up, but it's alright," I replied.

"Well I'm in London now," he said.

"You just landed?" I asked.

"Yep. I miss you a lot."

"I miss you too, Harry."

Harry took a shaky breath and even over the phone I could tell that he was holding in tears. I was too.

"I'm coming to L.A. in a few weeks. I'll be in San Francisco after that," Harry said.

"For how long?" I asked.

"About a week in total."

"What about Thanksgiving and Christmas? Do you get any time off?"

"I'm not sure about Thanksgiving, but I know I'll be home for Christmas."

I smiled. He was coming home to visit. Maybe this trip wouldn't be so bad.

"How's Elizabeth?" he asked, changing the subject.

"She's good," I answered. "She's sleeping right now, like always. But she's fine."

"I miss you both a lot, Sara," Harry confessed.

"I know, baby. I miss you too."

"I've got to go. I'll call you later. I love you."

"I love you too."
