Bad Teacher Part 33-Don't Slip Away

 Demi's POV

I run back inside and I hide in one of the classrooms I had to make my way upstairs and I hear another gunshot I tried to holding back the tears I look over and I see a stain of blood on the floor and a cell phone next to it. I grab my phone to call Alex to tell her what room she's in that way I can save her as I hear the dial tone I hear a phone vibrate in the distance I look over and it's Alex's phone on the floor next to the pool of blood I began to quietly sob  not knowing where the love of my life is or if she's even alive once I feel like the coast is clear I crawl out of the desk and I run into the hall and I pick up Alex's phone and I run towards the right side of the hall and I crash into someone and I was relieved it was Wilmer

"Demi you're fucking insane you could get yourself killed.!" he said in a whispering tone

"I don't give a fuck Wilmer we need to save them!." I said

He pulls out his gun and we make our way into the one of the closets nearby the stair case we hear something and I held onto Wilmer's hand and he has his weapon drawn on the door in case the shooter found us but soon the noise stopped and we heard footsteps running away.

Alex's POV

I forgot how badly it hurt being shot it hurt more than anything I get up slowly and I wince in pain but the adrenaline of everything made me forget about it I didn't feel anything at that moment I ran upstairs and I make it back to my 3rd period class to see if everyone's in there and they weren't I punch the wall in frustration and I grab my shoulder forgetting that I had a bullet stuck inside of it I run towards the other side of the school looking for more emergency kits to keep Hailey alive I didn't care about myself at that moment I didn't care that I was shot as well all I cared about was saving Hailey and making sure everyone I love was safe that's all that mattered to me at that moment. I run towards the classroom where Hailey was in and I couldn't believe it.

Hailey's POV

I feel cold and I feel a sharp pain in my chest I try to get up but I feel too weak to move but I use all of my strength to stand up on my feet I make my way to the door and I'm stumbling and as I open the door I see Alex I smile and I limp to her she runs to me and she hugs me gently and I can feel how weak I am I kiss her and I hug her then before I knew it I saw the shooter pointing the gun at Alex I push Alex down and they fire

*BANG*

Alex's POV

Hailey pushes me down and I hear a loud bang

*BANG*

I look at Hailey and she's looking at me and I see the pain in her eyes she's holding onto her stomach and I see blood covering her hands she falls on her knees and I yelled

"NO! Hailey!!!." I yell

I see her crying and I began to cry as well I look over at the shooter and yell

"The fuck are you waiting for shoot me! Is that what you were trying to do in the fucking first place do it! I fucking dare you!." I yell

"Alex no!." I hear someone yell I turn around and it's Demi

"Demi what are you doing here.?!?!" I say

I turn around and I see the shooter point the gun at Demi I jump in front of Demi and I take the bullet I fall on the floor next to Hailey and I see her eyes looking at mines with tears in her eyes I feel my eyes closing and I'm looking at Hailey and I start to see blurry I then hear more gunshots and I hear someone say in the distance

"Demi put pressure on their wounds to stop the bleeding the shooter is down I repeat the shooter is down send all units and get paramedics here fast."

I feel someone hold onto my stomach and I began to shut my eyes the last thing I saw and heard was Demi and she was saying

"Alex don't let go please stay with me please.!"

I can hear her voice but it sounds so far away my eyes were getting heavy and all I saw was darkness.

Demi's POV

"The fuck are you waiting for shoot me! Is that what you were trying to do in the fucking first place do it! I fucking dare you!." I hear someone say and I knew it was Alex

Wilmer opens the door as fast as he could and I yell to Alex

"Alex no!."

she turns around and she says

"Demi what are you doing here.?!?!" she says and I see the shooter point the gun at me Alex turns around and she jumps in front of the bullet to save me from getting hit I see her collapse on the floor and I yell

"NO!"

Wilmer pushes me down behind him and he fires his weapon and he hits the shooter and I see the shooter go down he grabs his walkie talkie and he says

"The shooter is down I repeat the shooter is down send all units and get paramedics here fast."  he says

He pulls me up and we run over to Alex and Hailey Wilmer puts pressure on Haileys wound and I apply pressure on Alex's wound I see Alex and she's slipping I see her eyes slowly fall back and they began to close I began to say

"Alex don't let go please stay with me please.!"

Her eyes looked at me and they closed the paramedics arrive and take Hailey and Alex away and Wilmer holds me and pushes me out of the building I had blood all over my hands and so did he I walk outside and I see the paramedics in their car and I see one of them look down and I couldn't see what else was going on and I see the ambulance drive away to the hospital. I look over at Wilmer and I breakdown crying not knowing what to do one of the officers take me in the squad car and we head towards the hospital where the girls are at and on the way there I began sobbing hoping everything was okay once we arrive at the hospital I see doctors scrambling everywhere to help the ones who were wounded  I ask the front desk for Alex and the nurse tells me to wait over there and after a few minutes one of the doctors comes up to me and says

"Are you the family of Alexandra Johnson.?" he says

"I'm her fiancé is she going to be alright..?" I said

he looks down and I can feel my heart beating fast and I felt tears running down my face he looks at me again and I was expecting the worst.
