Alex's POV
"DAD!" I yelled as I felt a wave of panic wave through me
"MR.JOHNSON!..CRAIG!" Nick yelled one last time we both look at each other
"She got to him Nick it has to be her..It's her" I said
"We don't know that,c'mon let's go look for him he's probably with the other officers, give me your walkie talkie." I grab it from my pocket and hand it over to him he calls in dispatch outside and downstairs.
*Dispatch on channel 3 and 2 do you copy.?* he says
*This is channel 3 Office Shane and Officer Rick, We read you loud and clear.*
*Do you have all channels open, we're missing one of our guys Craig Johnson is he downstairs with you.?* he said
*Yes sir we do we have all the channels open to expand further communication to make sure we're safe and we catch this crazy son of a bitch before she does anything to harm anyone else.We've haven't seen Craig since he went upstairs we're stationed down here and nobody has came down these stairs since we first came in here. His Walkie is on Channel 4 we'll keep our eyes down here and if you need us we'll rush up there.*
*Thank you.* Nick said
"Nick if he's still on this floor then that means..." I said before I was interrupted with him pulling out his gun
"We'll be ready this time." he said I nod my head and he pulls out my walkie talkie and changes the nob and says
*Channel 4 this is Nick Jonas do you copy I repeat do you copy? over*
*Static*
"Repeat this is Nick Jonas, Officer in the U.S Army asking for Craig Johnson do you copy? Over*
*Static*
*Craig Johnson, this is Nick Jonas, Officer in the U.S Army next to your daughter Alexandra Johnson, Commanding Officer in the U.S Army do you read me over.?*
Just when we were about to lose hope we heard the static clear and the line and signal was clear
"Oh thank god!" I said
*Craig do you read me?* Nick said as we were waiting for a reply,we heard heaving breathing on the other line
"Dad.?"
*Sorry baby sis Dad's busy right now, he's spending quality time with his older daughter, isn't that right dad.?*
*No! don't hurt my baby girl, you already have me ..*I heard my dad say
*Shut the fuck up!* I heard Stephanie yell
*NO!...PLEASE DON'T KILL MY DAD...OUR DAD! PLEASE!" I yelled into the walkie talkie, the line was still on but I heard nothing but a loud crash then the line went dead.
"Hello?!..DAD!...FUCK!" I yelled as I threw my walkie talkie on the wall smashing it into pieces.
"Alex!..Look she's up here, We know that and she can't escape we can take her out and save your dad okay?" he said as he wrapped his arms around me and I buried my head into his neck letting my tears fall. I felt him reach around his side and he pulled out my gun and said
"Here...we'll stick together and she'll be outnumbered we can take her down together and make things right and we'll go back to living our lives without fear." he said, I nod my head and take my gun from his hand and stand up. I check the gun for ammunition and I have 12 rounds in the chamber, I load it up and Nick does the same. We walk slowly to the door and out the hallway, we walk down the straight hall to see it empty I look around and I see a stain of blood on the floor then a wave of panic came through me and I see Nick and he looks at me and he has his gun drawn on the door. As I put my hand on the door to open it I heard a familiar voice behind me.
"Looking for something sis.?"
I turn around and I see Stephanie holding onto my dads neck and my heart drops
"PUT HIM DOWN!" Nick said in a stern voice with his teeth clenched together
"Or what? You're gonna shoot me?" she said taunting him
"Or else I'll break you like a fucking toothpick." Nick said
"I don't think so Jonas." she said as she pulled out a huge hunter knife and held it close to my dads throat
"NO!..PLEASE!" I said she looks at me and I see hate in her eyes, I look behind her and I see 2 officers with their guns drawn making their way closer to her.
"Stephanie please don't kill our dad..please I'm the one you always wanted to kill..just kill me instead of him..just kill me..I'm tired of this..I'm tired of all the scars,bullets and pain I've gone through.. just..just end it all for me..." I said I look at my dad and he has tears in his eyes and I see Stephanie look at me and she smiles and says
"You're such a fucking liar.." she said as she turned around and pulled a gun out of her pocket and shot at the officers
"FUCK!" I heard one of them say as I duck my head down and I see Nick taking cover when one of the officers bullets shot directly at us, I look up and Stephanie grabs the hunters knife and stabs my dad in the chest
"AHH!" My dad yelled in pain
"NOO! DAD!" I yelled as I got up and grabbed my gun and ran to him but before I could reach him Stephanie pulls out her gun and aims for my head but she missed and hit my shoulder instead. The impact of the bullet was hard and I ended up lying on the cold hard cement floor I see her walk up to me and I'm bleeding from my all the places she shot me with tears in my eyes and I said to her
"Do it..you've waited so long for this..now do it.." I said sobbing
"My pleasure.." she said as she loads the gun and aims it to me, I close my eyes and I hear a shot
*BANG*
I open my eyes and a drop of blood fall on me I look at Stephanie's eyes and she drops her gun and I look over and see that Nick fired the shot, he shot her in the chest and she looks at me and she's shaking then she coughs and she's coughing blood. She collapses and she's laying on the floor motionless then I see my dad on the ground, I use all of my strength to go to my dad and once I reach him I see the damage she's done to him.
"D-Dad?" I said but nothing
"Dad it's me your babygirl answer me dad please..let me know that you're okay...?" but nothing I began sobbing again and I felt a cold shiver run down my body then intense heat and before I knew it I was in a state of intense shock all I heard was a piercing scream and someone crying then my vision darkened and my hearing was gone...was I finally dead?
