Demi's POV
"Wilmer.." I said
"Hey Demi I came to see how things were between you two and I'm glad you two patched things up" He said
"Thanks how did you know I was here.?" I said
"Perla and Jennifer told me and I wanted to stop by to make sure things were okay with you two is it okay if I can talk to Alex I just want to apologize to her." he said
"Umm right now she can't she's uh busy." I said
"But I just saw her walk to the den-" before he can finish the door opens and it's Alex standing in the doorway and Jeremy is standing behind her she looks shocked when she sees Wilmer and he has the same expression on his face like if he had been hypnotized both of them just look at each other
"Demi take Jeremy inside I'll handle this." Alex whispered in my ear
I take Jeremy inside the living room and I shut the door
Alex's POV
I wonder who was at the door I walked over there and I opened the door to see Wilmer standing there in front of Demi I looked at him and anger ran through my body as much as I wanted to yell at him I couldn't do it with Jeremy standing right behind me Wilmer saw Jeremy and had a surprised expression on his face and I saw tears form in his eyes and I turn around to make sure the door is closed and I walked up right in front of him and he says
"H-How.?" he says in a low cracking voice
"How what.?" I snapped back
"How did you find h-him how did you find my son.?" he said
"That's not for you to know and not for you to find out." I said
As I was about to turn my back to him he holds my hand and says
"Please don't go....I need to tell you something Alex."
"What do you have to say after everything that happened what are you going to say to me that you haven't already said just let it go Wilmer."
"Not until I see my son and you forgive me for everything that happened."
I scoff and said
"Really.? what do you think happened.?" I said
"Not telling you about Demi and I before." he said
"I kinda knew that already I think you knew that."
"About having a son."
"Tell me something I don't know where are you getting at with this.?"
"I'm sorry about the things you don't know about."
"And that is.?" I said getting annoyed
"That they gave me the choice to pull you off life support when Jasmine first kidnapped you when you were in the hospital I was going to take you off of it but you woke up before I made the decision
"You almost murdered me.?!"
"I wasn't going to murder you nobody was around they left the decision to me you were suffering I couldn't bear to see you like that I was thinking about what was best for you."
"By killing me *scoffs* yeah you would've liked that wouldn't you not having me around so you could have your chance with Demi."
"No! It wasn't like that it was never like that I waited in that hospital room for days hoping you would wake up and I didn't have to make that decision!" I still remember that day every moment sitting outside your room hearing your heart beat through the monitors you could hardly breathe on your own!"
*Flashback*
Wilmer's POV
Alex was sent to intensive care her wounds were too severe she had a bad reaction to the morphine and her heart stopped for 2 minutes Demi was a mess so I took her home and I had too comeback to watch over her in case Jasmine tries anything I walk back inside her room and one of the nurses stops me and says
"She doesn't look so good her blood rate is decreasing her heartbeat isn't beating correctly she's lucky to even be in this state let alone barley alive I think it's the best choice if you pull the plug it's the least we can do for her." she said
"I can't just do it right now didn't you say she'll make a full recovery you said everything was back to normal!" I said
"Sir please calm down the doctor didn't want to cause anymore heartache and seeing how the girl you were with earlier we didn't want to cause anymore stress on her when she was in the state that she was" she said
"You know your job is to give the full truth information about a patients health not give false hopes to their loved ones" I snapped at her
she gives me a glare and sighs and says
"I'm sorry but we need your decision in 2 days if we don't then we have to make the choice and take her off of it."
"I'll think about it....."
I look over at Alex seeing her strapped with I.V's and a oxygen mask on her face she looked pale and I see the monitor and her heartbeat was slow I sigh and I knew I had to make a decision soon.
*2 days later*
Still Wilmer's POV
It was the time and I had to make my decision I decided to pull the plug I sat there in Alex's room staring at her wondering if I had made the right choice as I waited for the nurse to arrive I heard something and when I looked up Alex had her eyes open and she looked around the room I stood up shocked at what I was seeing she looked at me confused and I said
"Oh my god you're awake!"
she asked me
"What happened to me.? Where am I.? and who brought me all these gifts.?" she said
I told her who I was and explained everything and once she was out she went back to Demi and I knew that I was about to make the wrong decision and I was happy I waited because I knew from the bottom of my heart that she would prove those doctors wrong.
*End of Flashback*
Still Wilmer's POV
"I don't want you to think I wanted to kill you that was never my intention I waited because I knew you would make it out but I had to make a choice I didn't want you to suffer I'm truly sorry Alex." I said
she looks at me and tears are covering her eyes and she begins to sob Demi comes out and hugs her and she sobs into Demi's shoulder
"Can you forgive me Alex.?"
"Wilmer..." Demi said then Alex looks at me and says
"After all the bullshit you've put me through I don't know if I can but as of right now I have 2 people who I love very much with me and I need sometime time to think about all this and I'll tell you if I do or not."
"Take all the time you need but Alex I need to ask you one more thing." I said
"What....?" she said
"Is it okay if I can see my son.?" I said
she looks at me and before she could say anything Jeremy walks out holding onto Demi and Alex's hand and he hides behind Alex when he sees me
"My son my beautiful boy..." I said to myself
I couldn't believe I was face to face with my first son...... I was speechless
