I watched Samuel sing and dance on stage. He had improved so much, it was amazing.

"He's really good huh?" S.Coups nudged me.

"He's amazing. He's worked so hard, I can tell."

Samuel pulled up his shirt.

"Oh my god. That little shit."

S.Coups started laughing. "That's not the first time."

"What?!"

"During his performance of With You and Get Ugly, at least those are the ones that I saw."

"I'm going to hit him."

"Why are you jealous??" S.Coups teased.

"I have better abs than him." I rolled my eyes.

Timeskip

I watched a tear fall from Samuel's face.

"No way." I sat still and stared in disbelief.

"What?" S.Coups held on to my hand.

"There's no way, he should of won. Ahh this is like the presidential elections in America." I leaned against him.

S.Coups adjusted his glasses and continued to watch.

All I could do was stare at Samuel, he looked so heart broken. He looked hurt and he wasn't the only one that was lost. I saw Samuel's mom in the crowd with the fans.

"Hey S.Coups. I'm going to go stand with Samuel's mom."

He nodded.

I quickly made my way over to Samuel's mom. "Mom...I mean Mrs. Kim."

She seemed confused for a moment and then hugged me. "Momi. Samuel was convinced that you wouldn't be here."

"I just flew back from New York, my flight landed a few hours ago."

"You must be tired." She looked me over.

"No Mrs. Kim, I slept 17 of the 22 hours."

"Just call me mom, like old times."

I nodded. "Samuel worked hard, I can tell."

"He came home and cried the day after you disappeared, he couldn't contact you and you scared him."

"Yeah I'm sorry about that mom I just..."

She grabbed my hand. "You were hurt, I understand. You should apologize to Samuel. I've never seen him cry the way he did that day. More than when I threatened to move us back to LA."

"Wow."

I'm such an asshole.
