As much as he denied it, it was no question that Anxiety was very much like a cat. Prince had discovered this on multiple accounts.

The first time he encountered feline behavior from his boyfriend was when he had been trying on a new crown. He looked at himself in the mirror, frowning in concentration. He couldn't decide if the ruby gem was too big, or if he should use diamond instead.

"Anxiety, what do you think?"

When no reply came from him, Prince turned around annoyed. "Hey, I asked you a question," he said, allowing his annoyance slip into his voice. After his boyfriend still didn't reply, he studied him.

Anxiety's eyes were focused on a spot on the ceiling, his whole body rigid. As Prince looked up to see what he could possibly be so entranced by to not answer his boyfriend, Anxiety's eyes darted in another direction. Prince looked at him confused. He followed his gaze with just his eyes, finding a small dot of light reflecting off his crown to be what he was staring at.

Prince smirked, taking of the crown to mess with him. He purposely made the dot shoot around the room. He laughed as his boyfriend's eyes darted back and forth, following the dot.

The second time he encountered his boyfriend's feline behavior was late at night during a Disney marathon. He felt a weight on his chest, finding Anxiety falling asleep. Prince kept still, not wanting to disturb his adorably sleepy boyfriend. As a couple moment's passed, he found said boyfriend clinging to him as he curled up against his chest. It was quite adorable.

The third thing Prince had noticed, was how Anxiety had the habit of taking often naps on random objects.

He walked into the common room one December evening to find the youngest Side curled up and asleep in front of the fireplace. Prince covered his mouth to hide his smile. It was the single cutest thing he'd ever seen.

One day, Prince decided to bring it up. "Hey Anxiety?"

The darker Side looked up. "Yes?"

"Did you know you're very catlike?"

Anxiety looked extremely confused as Prince smiled. "What are you talking about?"

"You're entranced by small lights, you cling to me in your sleep, and you take naps in random places," he pointed out.

"Psh, no I don't," Anxiety said, blushing. Prince took out his phone, pulling up a picture he'd taken not to long ago to show him.

"You were curled up taking a nap in front of the fireplace."

Anxiety blushed even harder as he looked away, and Prince got an idea. "I wonder..." he started, moving closer, making his boyfriend tense up worriedly. "Is there another specific catlike thing you might do?"

"Princey don't you dare..."

He did.

He grabbed Anxiety, pulling him close and began to scratch his head. All the while, Anxiety was frantically trying to escape. "Let me go Princey!"

A faint rumble from Anxiety's chest made them both freeze. Prince's face lit up. "You purr!!!" he exclaimed, laughing at his blushing boyfriend. "That's adorable!!!"

Anxiety hissed at him but stopped struggling and kept purring as Prince kept rubbing his hair. "I'll kill you..." he said halfheartedly, smiling a little.
