I feel terrible about that... a few people were saying how good they were feeling before reading that, or how they were have a horrible day and I made it worse so I want to fix it. Here, hopefully this fixes it.

Trigger Warning: mentions of suicide (it's kinda graphic)

Virgil had made a mistake. He realized that now as he watched Roman from somewhere else. It was a place in the mind that operated like "heaven" for if something happened to any of them. The pain he felt watching Roman was worse than any pain he'd felt before and after the blades had met his wrists.

Tears rolled down his cheeks as he watched his boyfriend sob and beg him not to do this to him as his body faded. The pain had been too much, EVERYTHING had been too much. He couldn't do any more, so he ended it... but he shouldn't have.

"I messed up," he whispered to himself. "I shouldn't have done it... this is so much worse..."

Roman curled in on himself, sobbing so much he was surely struggling to breathe. Virgil watched him, regret in his voice. "I-I'm so sorry Roman," he murmured. "I wasn't s-strong enough, but I should've been..."

He felt something tug him. His eyes widened, a strangle tingle spreading through his body. "I regret it," he said, there was another tug, more powerful than the last. "I want to hug you and tell you it's alright."

He felt several tugs, confidence and pure joy washing over him as he realized what was happening. A voice whispered to him.

You're a Side Virgil. If you want to go back, you can. If you truly want to go back... Just say so.

He lifted his chin, tears of sorrow mixing with tears of joy as he spoke. "I want to go back."

Roman sat on Virgil's bed, wrapped in his old hoodie, since the new one disappeared with him, now emotionlessly eating the chocolates he'd bought for Virgil. Tears were still falling silently from his bloodshot eyes, going over the stains on his cheeks again. He felt empty inside. He felt as though his whole reason for existence disappeared. He felt nothing, no pain, no sadness, no emotions whatsoever.

At some point Patton and Logan had come in to find out what happened, where Roman explained in a monotone voice. Patton had started sobbing and even Logan had tears falling down his cheeks as they left the room.

Now Roman was alone, surrounded by a room where everything screamed the man he loved at him, who was now gone.

Or so he had thought.

There was a bright flash outside his closed eyes and then suddenly a pair of arms wrapped around him.

"I've got you Roman..." he whispered to him, causing the prince to look up in shock. Virgil smiled at him as tears flowed like waterfalls from Roman's eyes. He sobbed as he hugged Virgil, holding onto him like he was afraid he'd disappear if he let go. The emo nightmare was crying too, smiling as he held him back. "I'm so so-"

"I failed you!! I'm sorry!! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Roman sobbed, making Virgil's heart break. The prince was mumbling apologies over and over again.

Virgil pulled away from him to look at his face. He pressed his lips to Roman's to get him to stop apologizing. They stayed with their lips delicately connected for a long time, each of them not wanting to move. When they did break apart, Virgil spoke.

"I'm so sorry, Roman," he murmured, pressing his forehead to his. "You don't deserve the pain I caused you. I shouldn't have left, I get it now. The pain of leaving you is worse than any pain in this world..."

Roman was still crying, now shaking his head. "No, no, I failed you Virgil..." the prince whispered.

"You didn't fail me, Roman," he murmured back. "I failed you. I shouldn't have been so selfish... you help me so much, and for me to throw that all away is just selfish and cruel."

"Please don't ever leave me again," he whispered like a scared child. Virgil pulled him closer.

"I won't."

Yeah that was really bad, sorry, but I hope this made the pain better from part one...
