Patton was in the kitchen, humming to himself as he made a batch of cookies. He was lost in his own little world as he gracefully moved around the kitchen, sliding across the tiles in his puppy pattern socks. He was so in his little world that he didn't realize Logan had sat down at the breakfast bar. The intellectual Side was just watching him, smiling at the way he was biting his tongue and smiling to himself as he worked. It was when Patton put the pan of cookies in the oven that he let out a hiss of pain. He'd forgotten to put on an oven glove, and had touched the rack. Logan jumped to his feet rushing forward.

"Patton! Are you alright?" he asked, concern lacing his voice.

The cardigan wearing character jumped in surprise, having not realized he was there. "Oh, y-yeah, I'm fine Logan," he said with a small smile as he shook out his fingers. "Just a little burn that's all, it'll fade any second now."

Logan frowned stepping close to him and taking his burned hand gingerly in his own. He lifted it to his lips, gently pressing a kiss to his fingers where he'd been burned. "Be more careful please," he murmured to Patton quietly.

"O-Okay," he stammered in reply, blushing at the intellectual Side's actions. Patton smiled and then realized he still had to make the frosting.

"Hey! You wanna help me with the frosting and the decorating?" he asked the intellectual Side enthusiastically. Logan nodded with a wide smile. The two of them began making two small batches of buttercream frosting.

"Patton, I thought buttercream frosting was used on cakes," he pointed out, confused. "I thought we were making cookies."

Patton bit his tongue with a smile. "We are! We're making little mini cookie cakes!" he exclaimed with a smile. "Buttercream frosting tastes way better than normal cookie frosting anyway!"

The intellectual Side chuckled as they went back to the frosting. They'd finished making it, Logan dying his batch dark blue and Patton dying his light blue. The oven let out a ding, making the cardigan wearing character rush to take the cookies out, but not before he was reminded to use an oven glove. He took the cookies out to cool.

"Now, we put the frosting in the frosting bags so we can frost the cookies once they're cool enough!" Patton said excitedly, getting out the bags. Baking with someone else was a lot more fun than baking on his own. The two of them tried their best to get the frosting into the bags, but it resulted in Patton accidentally flicking some onto the tip of Logan's nose. "Oops! Sorry Logan!"

"It's alright!" he replied with a laugh. "Do you mind getting it off for me?"

Patton got a crazy idea. He leaned forward and pecked the tip of his nose, successfully getting the frosting off and making the intellectual Side's face go bright red.. "Got it," he said with a little shrug. Logan smirked, flicking some at him that landed on his lips. "Logan!"

"Whoops! Guess I have to get that for you," the intellectual Side said, smoothly slipping an arm around his waist and pulling him in for a sweet and soft kiss. When they pulled away, Patton was blushing as he giggled. "I may or may not like you as more than a friend, Patton."

His tone was light, and he shrugged innocently as he made the comment. He gasped as he was pulled down by his neck tie into another short and sweet kiss. "I may or may not like you as more than a friend too, Logan."

The two of them shared a smile, brushing noses until Patton suddenly remembered what they were doing. "Oh goodness! The cookies!" he said with a laugh as he went back to putting the frosting in the frosting tube. "Come on Logan! They're cool enough to start decorating!"

The intellectual Side chuckled as he started frosting the cookies with a very generous amount of the light blue icing. Logan decided to be a little more artistic, carefully drawing a heart on one of the cookies. After that, he added "L+P" in the middle, smiling as he nudged Patton. He followed his gaze, awing as he read what Logan had written.

"Aww Logan!" he gushed brushing his cheek against the intellectual Side's. Logan smiled, looping an arm around his waist. Patton smiled, leaning into him more as he sighed happily. "I'm so glad I decided to make cookies."

I'm going to be honest... had that not specified that they wanted Logicality, this would've been a Royality one shot. It's not my OTP, I don't ship it in the Sanders Sides series, but I enjoy it when it's cute and well written, plus my one shots need a little diversity.
