*next morning*
*KAYLAS POV*

i woke up to my phone ringing. i kept my eyes closed , scattering my hand around to search for my phone on my night table. i didn't even look at the contact & just slid it to answer.
"hello ?" i said raspy.
"hey sweetie , sorry i didn't come back last night , some things happened. but im coming back in few hours & when i get home , i have some neeeeewwwss for you." i heard my mom say excitedly stretching out 'news'.
"okay mom , well im gonna go , bye love you." i replied.
"okay love ya bye bye." she said before i ended the call.
it was 7:14 am. UGH. i put my covers over my head & i just wanted to go back to sleep but i couldn't. i grabbed my phone & decided to scroll through instagram & saw that bryce posted a pic of him at a restaurant captioning it 'lets go on a brunch date.' he looked hella cute.

omg everyone always has to start something. i texted bryce to see if he was serious ab the lunch date.

whoa. i can't believe this is happening. im ab to go on a brunch date w bryce hall.
i had to get ready fast. i took a quick shower & washed my hair. i blow dried it & brushed it out. i was contemplating to curl my hair or not but i didn't have time so i just put my hair in a high ponytail & then went off to find an outfit.
i decided to wear a white long sleeved sweatshirt that said 'dope' w distressed shorts & paired the outfit w my white air force 1's.

i then decided to add some light makeup which consisted of a little foundation , powder , & mascara. i put some of my Victoria's Secret Bombshell perfume on & grabbed my bag. i had 13 minutes left so i hurried down the stairs & ran out the door.
