*KAYLA POV*

i slowly walked over to the door & opened it to ...

bryce .

"surprise !!" he screamed.
"what the fuck bryce , i thought you were mikey !!" i said , punching his arm.
"ow , well hello to you too," he laughed , rubbing his arm.
"so , mikey is not coming ?" i asked.
"no , i just said that so you'd think he was coming," he clarified.
"i hate you," i giggled , walking away from him.
"how are you here anyways ? didn't we just facetime ?" i asked.
"yeah but i was in my car , i had it on a black screen for a reason," he explained.
"ohhhh gotchu," i replied.
"so , you want a tour of the house ?" i asked bryce.
he nodded.

i gave bryce a tour of the new house.

"man , it's huge. am i the first guy who's been in it ?" he asked , wiggling his eyebrows.
i giggled but instantly stopped , which caused bryce to stop.
"wellllllll ..." i answered.
"w-who else was in here ?" he stuttered to ask.
"tayler ..." i replied.
"holder ?" he questioned.
i nodded.
bryce licked his lips & didn't make any eye contact with me , just like tayler.
"what did you guys do ?" he asked.
"why do you need to know ?"
"so you guys did do something !!"
"no !! im asking why do you need to know ?!"
"because i want to know if you guys did anything !!"
"why ?! you're not my boyfriend !!"
"i wouldn't want to anyways , cos you obviously can't even keep a relationship for a month !!" he yelled.
i was silent.
i can't believe bryce said that.
"get out," i ordered , pointing to the door.
"fine. but know this ... i thought you were different. i always thought that. but now i know you're just the same , like every other girl," he muttered , before walking out the door.
i trudged myself up the stairs & laid on my bed.
"ugh i have a headache," i sighed , rubbing my temples.
"im done. officially done. i can't with these boys anymore," i began to cry.
that night , i kept ranting to myself until i cried to sleep ...

*BRYCE POV*

i was driving home , not wanting to think about what had just happened , but failed.
all i could think about was what had just happened.
i began to get road range.
swerving around every car , switching lanes , honking & yelling at everybody who didn't deserve it ...
im just angry.
sometimes , i wish i never met kayla ...
i just want to move on ... but i can't trust any girl.
unless it's better off if i stay single.

next thing i know , im out like a light ...

*KAYLA POV*

i woke up with tears stained on my face & bags under my eyes.
im a mess.
why do i let boys do this to me ?
cos i let them get to me ...
i stayed in bed.
i had no motivation to get up anymore.
i turned to my side to avoid the sunlight coming from my window until i heard a knock at my door.
"come in," i yelled.
i turned around to face my door & watched my mom open & walk through it.
"kayla , get out of bed. it's 1 in the afternoon. i know you're sad but i have some good news for you !" she squealed.
"ugh what," i groaned.
"i found a school you can go to ! it's public & the school has an amazing environment. also , everybody is kind & helpful. your first day is tomorrow," she said.
"whoa what ?! mom why didn't you tell me you were even looking at schools ? plus it's the middle of the year , im going to look stupid & im not going to fit in," i exclaimed.
"sweetie just relax. you'll do fine , give the school a chance," she begged.
"okay fine ..." i gave in.
"yayyyy good," she said , before walking out of my room.

i finally had the urge to get up & get ready.
of course , when i finished & walked downstairs , my mom was already gone for work.
i grabbed my laptop & decided to facetime tyler.

"hey bitchhhh !"
"heyyyy !"
"how is it in LA ? anything happen yet ?"
"yeah ... well -"

i began to tell tyler everything that had happened before i left to LA & what's been going on since i woke up this morning.

"oh shit. gurrlll you & boys do not work so good together."
"you think i don't know that ? how is it over there ? what's going on with mikey ?"
"oh uhm about that ..."
"yeah ... ?"
"him & that girl aren't dating anymore."
"isn't that a good thing ? why did you say it like it was bad ?"
"it's bad because he's hooking up with a different girl every night in every state."
"what why ?!"
"i don't know , plus he's back to partying & drinking again."
"im so confused ... i just wanna know why."
"we don't know kayla. we try to talk to him but he gets mad at us & tells us to leave him alone."
"where does he meet these girls ?"
"either at a club or at a m&g."
"he hooks up with fans ?!"
"yeah , but they obviously don't seem to be bothered by it."
"tyler , when & where is your next stop ?"
"tomorrow in Orlando , Florida , why ?"
"don't tell anybody , but ill meet you in Florida."
"seriously ?!"
"yes ! i need to get mikey back to the way he was !"
"kayla -"
"tyler you can't convince me to not go. it's not right that he's hooking up with random girls he only knows the first names of. i need to fix him."
"okay ... text me when you get to florida. ill pick you up from the airport."
"okay , thanks tyler. ill talk to you later."
"alright bye."

i guess im skipping my first couple days of school ...
i went to go buy my last minute plane ticket to orlando & began packing.
i then decided to call my mom , i couldn't let her know what was actually going to happen.

"hey mom , you think it's cool if i can stay at a friends house for the week & just go to school from there ?"
"okay , just be careful & don't fret about your first couple days of school."
"i won't , thanks mom."

i texted tyler that my flight was at 4 am & that ill get to orlando by 9 am.
wow this is crazy.
im flying to orlando , florida tomorrow morning so i can change my ex boyfriend who i thought was the love of my life , into the man i was dating before ...

im so sorry i take soooo long to update !
im busy 25/8 & imma be honest w you guys , i was actually going to finish this chapter last night & then post it but i fell asleep while finishing it 😂.
& then i tried to update in the morning but then i turned on the tv & watched kuwtk all day 😂🤦🏽‍♀️.
