"n-no , why you ask ?" i lied. "idk , it seems like you guys are," he replied. "oh well we're not," i said. he nodded. "buuutttt ... what would you say if we were dating ?" i asked. "uhm ... idk. i have to think ab that," he replied. i nodded & looked back at kayla.

*BRYCE POV*
tbh , i think mikey is lying. but i decided to just leave it because who knows , he might be telling the truth. i can't believe i still like kayla though. i want to get over her. although , i think kayla likes mikey. if she does , i want to change that. maybe i can try to get her to like me again ...
KAYLA POV* *next morning*
i woke up to no one in the back room. i walked out & saw everybody eating. "heyyyyy," everyone says , greeting me , except for bryce & jessica. "heyyyyy," i replied back. i looked at bryce & he stood up.
"so guys," bryce continued. "i want all of us to go out to dinner tonight & have fun. i have a surprise," he smirked. everyone nodded & agreed. apparently we are going to a fancy restaurant so we have to dress classy.
we got to the hotel we were staying at for the past couple of days & unpacked everything.
"okay it's going to be me , justin , & jackson in one room , bryce & jessica in the other room , & kayla & mikey in another," tyler said. "okay , im fine w that," bryce replied winking at jessica. "oh god," i mumbled , rolling my eyes.
*later on in the night*
i started to get ready & picked out the dress i was going to wear. i grabbed a red dress that mikey bought me last week & put it on.

i paired the dress w black heels & decided to keep my hair straight. i put some eyeliner , mascara , & dark red lipstick on & finished everything up. i get a text from mikey saying everyone was ready & was waiting on me. i quickly grabbed my black clutch & heard a knock at the door. i opened it & saw mikey in a tux. whoa. he surprised me by wearing a red tie that matched w my dress. "what do you think ?" i asked. "man im a lucky guy," he smiled & pecked my lips. "well im a lucky girl," i smiled back , fixing his tie. "come on , lets go. they're all waiting on you," he laughed. "okay," i laughed w him. we walked out together & headed to the restaurant.
we arrived to the restaurant & ordered our food. around 10 minutes into us eating , bryce stands up w his glass. "cheers to our first fancy dinner back on tour," he said raising up his glass. we all raised our glasses & cheered w each other. "so what's the surprise ?" jackson asked. "well the surprise is actually for jessica," bryce replied looking at her. she looked back at him confused until bryce pulled a small box out of his pocket. he opened the box to reveal a gold necklace w a small heart & key attached to it. she gasped. he turned the heart around to show the little engraved message. "you're the key to my heart. i love you babygirl. from bryce," jessica read aloud. "omg thank you so much baby !!" she yelled & kissed him.
i rolled my eyes. he really took us to this dinner just to give his girlfriend a present ?
is bryce trying to make me jealous ?
*BRYCE POV*
i saw kayla rolling her eyes at me while i was putting the necklace on jessica. yes , i think it's working.
*KAYLA POV*
during most of the dinner , bryce & jess kept making out which was disgusting. i was ab to lose my sh*t. mikey saw me getting annoyed so he grabbed my hand under the table & gave me a smile. i smiled back & kissed him on the cheek , hopefully nobody seeing.
*MIKEY POV*
i could tell kayla was annoyed w bryce but i was hoping she wasn't jealous , because then it'd mean she still likes him & that's something i don't want.
*BRYCE POV*
i saw at the corner of my eye , that kayla kissed mikey on the cheek. i started to get mad & clenched my fists together until jessica gave me a confused look. "what's wrong ?" she whispered. "nothing," i replied taking a deep breath. she rolled her eyes at me. "well we're going to talk ab this back at the hotel," she snapped. sh*t , im in trouble.
*KAYLA POV*
mikey & i got back to our hotel room & i decided to change out of my fancy clothes. i didn't notice mikey was watching me until i turned around & saw his mouth wide open. i quickly grabbed my shirt & covered myself w it. "awh man , why'd you do that ? i was enjoying the show," he smiled. "oh shut up & change out of that tux," i laughed throwing him one of his t shirts & adidas pants. after i finished changing , i turned around & saw mikey laying on the bed in just his boxers. i giggled. he's so cute. he looked up at me from his phone. "your turn," he laughed. i groaned & decided to give in. i took my shirt & shorts off & climbed into bed w mikey. right when i got comfortable , i heard a knock at the door. "ughhhhh seriously ?!" i groaned , getting out of bed to open the door. i cracked the door a bit so the person wouldn't see me in my underwear.
it was jessica.
wtf , what does she want ? "yes ?" i said w a bit of sass. "we need to talk," she said w her arms crossed. "i think im good," i smiled closing the door.
i walked back to the bed & got a text message from an unknown number.
unknown : you better agree to talk tomorrow morning or something will happen to your loved ones ... or maybe you. me : idk what you mean jessica but you don't scare me. unknown : oh kayla you will be. you better agree to talk to me tomorrow or you'll be sorry. me : fine , see you in the morning.
i took a deep breath & put my hands on my head. "what's wrong babygirl ?" mikey asked. "oh it's nothing baby , don't worry ab it," i replied pecking his lips. he nodded but still looked confused.
