I think I'm going to write a really short short. I'm so excited. There are no words for how happy I am right now. This will be published today. I shall have WiFi! Its only for an hour or two, but still. Better than nothing. No idea what I'm writing. Happy reading!

Tex had been drafted into the war again. Now it was over, she was going home.
Tex walked off the Pelican onto the asphalt landing strip. England's normal cloudy weather had subsided today. Her bulky black armor was in her duffel bag, tossed over her shoulder. She wore a simple soldier's uniform, her long red hair pulled back under her hat.
Thomas spotted her almost as soon as she left the ship. Leo held his hand at his side. "Allison," Thomas whispers.
Leo looks up at his father curiously having not heard what he said. He then turns back toward the space in the crowd he had been watching to see his mother emerge.
Tex runs to them, dropping her bag on the ground. She picks up Leo and receives a warm embrace from Thomas. "I missed you guys so much."
"You're back, and that's all that matters."
