---Asif's POV---
"Hey! Your finally home," Mom said.
"I was gone for an hour," I said.
"Okay. Come on, we have news for you," she said.
"What?" I asked.
"Come," she said and I followed her.
There were other people sitting there as well.
I greeted them.
"We've confirmed your wedding with their daughter!" Mom said excited.
"YOU DID WHAT?'' I questioned her shocked.
"Trust me, you will never regret it. Plus, a mother always picks what's best," she said.
I sighed and because I didn't really have a choice, I agreed. Everyone started cheering at my misery.
---Kanika's POV--
"But I didn't want to get married!" I yelled.
"That's too bad. You never want to get married. We can't have you as a responsibility all the time," Dad said.
"But," I said.
"It's final!" He said and walked away.
I went to my room and cried so much. I hope my future husband is understanding.
I knew I had to go through with it, for the honor of my family.
Please be a good person.
