Your love touches me, only in my dreams not reality,
Your body is entwined with mine but that's just in my fantasy.
My heart is broken like the sharp pieces of glass,
Why did I ever make myself believe that what we had would last.
The clouds grew gray, the sky grew dark and the sun was gone,
We may be broken apart physically but emotionally I can't move on.
The more I loved you the more further you drifted away,
I had my heart and soul rapped into you but games you decided to play.
You left me alone and you didn't even say goodbye,
I was the one that was blinded and believed each and every lie.
Little did you know when you left, you took a part of me,
You always smiled but it was someone else that made you happy.
It all ended just as you wanted and you left the war without a scar,
If I only knew in the beginning that this was the type of person you are,
You may be out of the war without a scar but I'll always beat you to the punch,
Just admit it you couldn't handle the reality, I dare you this once.
