I poured you a cup of my soul and you drank it right down,
I defeated the army and took all the scars, yet you wear the crown.
When you were dying I gave you my heart, I never got it back,
It seems like you're just using me, no wait that's a fact.

I was your sword, your shield and took all the impact,
But yet it seemed I was nothing to you, what requirements did I lack?
I brought you the stars in my bleeding hands and I never complained,
But you wanted something that I could never give you, it was all just in vain.

When they said you were way in over your head I stood by your side,
But to you that meant nothing, you were to ambitious to lose your pride.
The seas sat at bay when you walked the shore and the sun never blinked,
I thought to myself we could do it all, what the hell did I thinked.

The sky was your canvas and you never even drew a line,
I just sat on the side line as I watched the real you unwind.
So we traveled the whole world together battling and conquering,
You were truly the queen you are but I was never your king.
