Soulful Whispers

Something Deadly.

She hugged me and kissed my scars and I kissed hers to,
And that's when I knew that the love we shared was true.
When they laughed at me she was there to shield me,
We would break away from school and just tour the town feeling happy.

You know I'll even go a step to say we were in love like crazy,
And that's when I started living life wild and freely.
We loved together, bleed together and everything was fine,
And I was so glad that everything was going ok in the world at this time.

But it's true what they say, you'll love a person so much you'll end up hurting them,
And it hurts me to know that's the major problem.
I had no idea that something as beautiful as this would turn out this ugly,
Now I'm here with bloody wrist, lonely and no one to love me.

I think she handled the hurt better than I ever thought she would,
I can't make it right again even if I could.
For I messed up the one thing that meant the whole world to me,
I had now idea that something like love could be this deadly.
