Broken promises of what was once a fulfilling dream,
Now it's lost in the stars of tomorrow with no return, so it seems.
Tainted lies that my heart took for love, I was in to deep,
Whispers of a day new to come and it's secrets I'll have to keep.

The heavens hold the story that I should I told in time before,
Now it's resting in peace in the clouds I can't share it anymore.
Letters written with love so deep you'll drown just reading them,
But now the ink has faded and the love is hidden, it's message I can't send.

Reality kept me behind as was going to build my fantasy,
Looking for the twisted soul of mine, eyes wide open but still I can't see.
The demons of my mind took apart my magical life infornt of me,
And the angles built me this lie but I'm still not happy.

The hours has been broken so I guess my time will never come,
But through the cracks i tried to fit, but silence tells me I'm done.
I wish I could put the broken pieces back together, but the image will never be the same,
I wonder what would be different if I got fantasy,
But I'm living in the darkness and the darkness is living within me.
