She raised the knife and aimed it at her stomach. I grabbed it quickly pero nagpumiglas siya, at naging dahilan yun para matamaan ako ng kutsilyo sa braso. Napaupo ako at naiyak dahil masakit at sa takot ko dahil sa dami ng dugong lumalabas sa sugat ko.

"Oh my god." Rinig ko ang boses ni Laverne.

"Ven! What happened here?!" Patakbong pumunta sakin si Mickey nung makita niya akong duguan.

Nabitawan ni Ellie yung knife at napaupo din siya at umiyak nang umiyak. She keeps on saying that its all her fault.

"It's all my fault. I killed her. I keep on hurting people. I don't want to live anymore. It's my fault."

Agad naman siya nilapitan ni Gelo at ni Laverne. Gelo picked up the knife while Laverne hugged her and caresses her back to comfort her. And there I was, hurt, physically and emotionally. I felt jealousy run down my body. Ako itong nasugatan, ako yung napahamak, and yet he still chose to comfort her despite the pain I was feeling.

As Mickey pulled me up, I can't take my eyes off from Gelo and Ellie. Naiwan sila doon dahil si Laverne ang tumawag ng nurse sa clinic. I was being pulled away at pakiramdam ko ay wala ako dito sa loob ng quarters. Gelo's eyes were so focused on Ellie that it made me felt so small. And it hurts so bad.

After everything that happened, I ended up in the hospital dahil sabi sa clinic ay mas kailangan sa ospital ako dalhin. Yung sugat ko ay kailangang tahiin dahil medyo malaki ito.

Nakahiga ako, nakatagilid. My left arm facing the doctor and I was ready for the treatment when Gelo came in. He stopped and our eyes met as he was catching his breath. Nakita ko yung pag-aalala sa mukha niya, which made a tear fell from my eye. Kasabay nun ang pagtusok ng karayom sa balat ko.

The stitches were painful, but there he was standing. Just watching me breathlessly weeping. Masakit siya, pero yung makita siyang ganyan sa harapan ko ay mas masakit. Hindi ko alam kung bakit niya kailangan ipakita saakin na nag-aalala siya dahil lalo lang akong aasa.

Nung matapos na, pina-inom ako ng pain reliever bago umalis yung doctor. My Mom went out para kausapin si Doc. Si Mickey naman ay bumili ng pagkain. Laverne went home dahil medyo traumatized pa siya sa nangyari. Gelo? He's stood there until everything was finished. Sinubukan niyang lumapit pero pinigilan ko siya.

"Stop. Huwag ka nang lumapit. If you want to say something say it there." I said to him.

"Venice. I'm sorry. Sorry sa ginawa ni Ellie. She's not feeling well. She's not in her right state of mind. Coming back here brought her trauma back. And Lucas' ignoring her made her feel worse. She's blaming he--"

"Gelo. Nasaktan ako, nasugatan ako. I thought you came here for me. Hindi pala. It's still her. You came in here for her." Naupo ako para mas magkausap kami ng maayos.

"No. Ven, I came here for you. To apologize fo-" I cut him off.

"For her. You really do love her don't you?" I said laughing like an idiot.

"That's not the point Venice. Kung nagagalit ka sa ginawa ni Ellie, eh di sige. You have all the right to hate her. Pero andito ako para humingi ng tawad. She's my stepsister, and I am here to fix the mess she made! Why are you acting like this?" He said.
