"Where are we going?" Nakangiting tanong ko sa kanya.
He's eyes were focused on the road but his lips were curved up. Nakangiti lang siya pero hindi siya nagsalita at hindi niya sinagot yung tanong ko.
I just shrugged and tried to play an app on my phone. Maybe he'll surprise me. So we stayed quiet hanggang sa makarating na kami sa mapuno at tahimik na lugar. I didn't know that this kind of place existed!
A wide green field with mango trees around. Mukhang alagang alaga din yung lugar dahil magandang tignan ang mga dami at malalago yung mga bulaklak. Para bang giant garden ang dating?
"You like it that much?" He asked.
"No. I love it." I smiled then I looked at him.
I didn't know that this was possible. Having someone like Lucas. Ever since, he just made me feel comfort and after what happened yesterday he stayed by my side up until now. He managed to make me feel better.
"They're Laura's favorite flowers." He said as we walk in the middle of the field.
"Sorry, but who?" I asked.
"She's my sister." He said. Medyo nagulat pa ako kasi hindi ko alam na may kapatid siyang babae. But, she's dead.
"I'm sorry." I said.
"No it's okay. Binili ni Papa yung land na to for her burial." He said smiling.
Natahimik ako. Hindi ko na alam ang sasabihin ko. I just looked at him and his lonely eyes and tapped his shoulder.
"Don't worry, okay na ako." He said.
Then he held my hand and led me in the middle of the field wherel there is a big mango tree alone, away from the others. We both sat under the tree and started eating the packed the lunch I brought.
"Ang sarap." He said, "Hindi ikaw nagluto no?"
Halos mabilaukan ako sa sinabi niya! Hindi ko alam kung maiinsulto ako or matatawa ako! Hindi naman mali yung sinabi niya dahil hindi naman talaga ako yung nagluto. Pero para sa bihin niyang iba yung nagluto kasi masarap? Aba! Ibang usapan na yan!
I quickly slapped his shoulder.
"Ouch!!!" He shouted.
Natawa ako bigla dahil hindi ko inexpect na sisigaw siya ng ganoon! He looks so cute!
"Bakit mo ako hinampas?!" He said through gritted teeth.
"Eh kasi! Ang sama mo!" Sigaw ko sa kanya.
"What? Wala naman akong ginawa ah?" Natatawang sabi niya.
I glared at him, "Hindi naman porket masarap eh hindi ako yung nagluto! Masarap kaya ako magluto. Baka pag natikman mo mainlove ka lalo sakin."
Biglang nanlaki yung mata ko sa sinabi ko. What the hell did I just say?! Sobrang careless naman nun! Gusto ko nang magpalamon sa lupa sa mga oras na ito dahil grabe na po makatitig itong si Lucas!
