Bumalik ako sa kwarto ni Mickey. Pagkapasok ko, wala na si Laverne pero may mga nurse pa sa loob. They're cleaning his wound. So I waited for a few minutes hanggang makalabas sila.

"Hey. You okay?" Tanong niya habang ako naman ay naupo sa tabi niya.

Umiling ako, "He told me everything."

"Finally." He said, "It's been hard for him."

"Ang bigat nun Mickey. Bakit hindi na lang kayo ang nagsabi sakin? He looked so hurt." I said.

Totoo naman diba? Bakit kasi hindi na lang sila ang nagsabi saakin? They could've just spilled the beans. Why let him talk about something that destroyed him?

"Because he never talked about it. Kaibigan niya kami kaya alam namin ang nangyari. Pero never siyang nagsalita at nagkwento tungkol doon. All the pain he felt, he kept it all on himself. We tried asking him, pero hindi niya sinasabi. He never trusted anyone ever again. Kahit pa kami, and we understand him." He explained.

"But why me? May tiwala siya sakin?" I asked.

"He fell in love with you Venice. It's enough for a reason."

I sighed. I don't know what to say or do.

"Alam mo, si Lucas, masyadong fragile ang puso niyan. But when I saw how he looked at you, I knew for sure, he's really in love with you." He said.

"What should I do?" I asked.

"Just stay by his side. Never leave him. Comfort him. Kasi yun yung mga bagay na hindi niya narasan. It caused him to be a closed book. You opened him up Venice. You started reading his pages and now, love him. Until his story ends."

I was confused. Mixed emotions. Sobrang hirap. Para akong mababaliw. I knew it love was a hard thing to do, at pinili kong mahalin si Lucas. The pressure of not hurting him, is harder. I wanted to love him and cherish him so bad, but I can't promise not to hurt him.

Kasi natatakot ako na baka masaktan ko siya isang araw.

"Venice, I know your doubting, pero ako na ang nagsasabi sayo, please stay with him. Love comes with pain."

I nodded. I will. I want and I have to be by his side.

The next day came by faster, and I have to go to school. I was alone dahil absent si Mickey, Laverne also skipped class dahil sasamahan niya si Mickey sa hospital, and Lucas? He didn't answer my calls since yesterday. At wala siya ngayon.

I also wanted to talk to Greg, but there were talks or rumors that he dropped out of school.

Right now, I was called by the head for student club and activities.

"Yes Sir?" I asked pagkapasok ko sa office niya.

"Please sit down Ms. Del Valle." He said, kaya naupo ako. "I'll go straight to the point. The photography club was in a bad shape a long time ago. Marami nang sumubok na irevive ang club pero lahat ay nagfail. But this time, we really have to do something. I don't know what is happening around your circle Ms. Del Valle, but it's the first time students dropped out of school. Lia and Greg, I know they're you friends and I don't want to ask any further dahil alam kong personal issues na yun. But if you know anything that can help us know their situations..."

"No Sir, wala po." I lied.

"Okay. So now, with the long term problem of the club, the board had decided to abolish the club. The School publication will now be the one to facilitate the photography and it'll be a department under their organization. And if it's okay with you, you'll be the Department head." He explained.

Napaisip ako. With what's happening now, feeling ko hindi ko na kayang mag-asikaso pa ng ibang bagay maliban pa sa acads.

"It's fine sir. Okay lang kahit hindi na po ako ang gawing Head. I don't think I can still handle the responsibilities." I said.

"Okay." He sighed, "I heard about what happened to your cousin. I'm sorry and if there's anything I could do to help. Just tell me okay?"

I nodded, "Yes sir. Thank you so much po."

He nodded and I went out. I was in deep thought while walking until I bumped into someone.

"Lia?" I said, when I saw her.

She smiled, "Can we talk?"

"Sure." I said.

Nagpunta kami sa pinakamalapit na bench at naupo. Maraming mga studyante nga ang tumitingin saamin eh. Dahil guess what? Kalat na agad ang nangyari saamin that night sa buong school.

"Venice, I'm really really really sorry. I didn't to do all of those things. If not for me, your cousin wouldn't have been shot." She said.

I tapped her right shoulder, "It's okay. I understand. As long as everyone's safe." I smiled.

Then she suddenly looked uneasy. She kept on twiddling her fingers.

"May problema ba? Okay ka lang?" I asked.

Tumingin tingin muna siya sa paligid na para bang may hinahanap tapos huminga siya nang malalim at lumapit ng kaunti sakin.

"I should've said this before pero natatakot ako. But I think now's the right time." She said.

Bigla akong kinabahan. "What is it?" I asked.

"Everything that happened. I didn't do it dahil gusto ko. I did it because I was blackmailed. Kakalat ang mga ginawa ng tatay ko sa company ng Dad mo. That he's a criminal. Magnanakaw. Ayokong masira ang reputasyon ng pamilya ko kaya pumayag ako sa lahat ng gusto niyang mangyari." She explained.

Nag-init ang dugo ko na parang natatakot ako. Hindi ko na maintindihan ang nararamdaman ko. Sobrang gulo. Kung hindi si Lia ang nagplano ng lahat ng iyon sino?

"Sino? Sino nag-utos sayo?" I said through gritted teeth.

"Right from the start, Venice, siya ang may pakana from your stalker, me, and what happened with you cousin. He used my insecurity towards you para imanipulate ako. He said na kapag tinulungan ko siyang makaganti at mawawala ka ay ligtas ang pamilya ko at babalik ang scholarship ko. He used my weakness." She started crying.

I grabbed both of her shoulders and asked her again. "Sino?! Sino ang nag-utos sayo?!" I screamed.

She calmed herself down before speaking.

"It was Greg, and he said he's just getting started."
