Pagkapasok ko sa bahay, titig na titig sakin si Mickey. Nakasuot pa kasi ang hoodie ko. Ayokong makita niya yung sugat sa mukha ko at lalong ayokong malaman niya na dahil kay Lucas lahat.

He looked so confused dahil nabigla siyang pumasok ako sa front door.

"Saan ka galing?" He asked.

"I took a walk. Then jogging ng onti." Tipid kong sagot at dumiretso sa taas agad. Aka kasi kapag nagtagal ako sa baba ay makita niya yung itsura ko. Ayoko nang makipag-talo pa.

Hinubad ko yung hoodie ko at humarap sa salamin. I stared at my face and saw what happened. Ang laki ng gasgas sa kanang pisngi ko, namamaga din yung kaliwang bahagi ng labi ko, may kaunting dugo pa nga eh.

So I took a tissue and slowly wiped off the remaining blood. I was already immersed in cleaning my wounds when Mickey burst in. Nung makita niya ang itsura ko, napanganga siya kaya nahulog yung sandwhich na kagat kagat niya. Dali dali siyang lumapit sakin.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?! WHO DID THIS?!" Sigaw niya sabay hawak sa pisngi ko. Parang sinisiyasat yung mukha ko? He was so worried.

"Got into a fight." I said, half honestly and half a lie.

"With who?!" He asked, looking like he was ready to kill someone.

"None of your business." I said tapos kinuha yung first aid kit sa drawer.

Nilagyan ko ng ointment yung q tip tapos bumalik ako sa salamin para lagyan yung mga sugat ko. I looked at him at mukhang galit na galit siya.

"Hey. I'm fine okay?" I assured him. Well totoo naman. After what happened, I felt relieved. Gumaan yung loob ko na nakausap ko siya. Na nasabi ko sa kanya na siya si Lucas. I just hope for the best.

"I told you not to go out on your own." Malumanay na sabi niya.

Humarap ako sa kanya, "I'm sorry okay? Pero seryoso. Okay lang talaga ako." I said then smiled a little. Then he smiled.

"Fine. Sorry din at nasigawan kita. Ayoko lang kasing napapahamak ka." He said, "And next time, tell me that you are leaving before hand. Okay?" I nodded in reply before he left my room.

I sighed. That little munchkin. He's so small yet parang kuya ko siya kung tratuhin niya ako.

Pagkatapos kong gamutin yung sugat ko nahiga agad ako para magpahinga. It's been a really long day at pagod na ako. Then I fell asleep.

The next morning was a hassle. Masakit ang buong katawan ko dahil sa nangyari kagabi but I have to go to school. Exams will be next week and my grades are nearly on their edge. I was a top student pero ngayo nanganganib dahil sa mga nangyayari sakin.

"Veeen! Tara na!" Rinig kong sigaw ni Mickey.

"Coming!!!" Then I placed one last band aid on the side of my lips to cover up the wound then I immediately ran outside.

Same process, sabay kaming papasok and we have three more cars following us for the three sets of body guards tasked to protect me. Pagdating sa school medyo normal naman ang sitwasyon, but when we reached the lobby, something was different.

There was a crowd of students and each veranda from different floors ay maraming nakadungaw sa baba. They were all looking down so Mickey and I were both curious.

Nakipag-siksikan kami para makita kung ano yung nangyayari sa gitna... Then I heard a cry. Iyak na sobrang pamilyar sakin, samin. Dali daling tumakbo si Mickey para puntahan si Laverne na umiiyak sa gitna ng maraming tao.

The reason for her tears suprised me even more. There he was standing in the middle while staring at the floor. Tahimik lang siya. But the students were noisy for what they were seeing shocked them too.

"Diba patay na siya?"

"Akala ko ba nilibing na yan?"

"Nakakatakot. Buhay ba yan or multo?"

Paulit-ulit na bulungan nila.

Tears immediately escaped from my eyes as I slowly walk towards him.

When I was enough near him, I stopped. Tapos tumingin siya sakin, then tears started coming out of his eyes. It's the first time na makita ko siyang humagulgol ng ganito. He was crying so hard while looking into my eyes.

No words needed for me to understand what was happening. He came back. He's back. That's all that matters.

Niyakap ko siya kahit matangkad siya. His head rested on my shoulders.

"Ssshhhh. It's okay." I said.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry... for everything. I'm sorry for hurting you. I'm sorry for leaving you. I'm sorry for putting you in danger." Then he stopped. Kumawala siya sa yakap ko tapos hinawakan niya ang magkabilang balikat ko.

"It's okay Lucas. It's fine. We're fine." I said as I wiped his tears with my bare hands.

"I'm so sorry. But I love you, and I am not sorry for loving you." He said then he kissed me.

Nagulat ako dahil biglaan yun. Those who were watching were cheering and hooting. But I didn't mind. It's been so long.

Humiwalay siya at ngumiti.

"I love you too." I said then I hugged him again.

"I'll fix this, I promise. Please just stay by my side." He whispered.

"No Lucas. I won't just stay by your side. I'll help you. We'll help you. Let's fix everything together." I whispered back while looking at Laverne and Mickey who is also smiling.

Then he tightened the hug.

Wala na akong mahihiling pa. This was best thing that has happened in my life. Having Lucas in my life was definitely the best thing.
