Chapter 8

Nikka's Pain

 

Erika’s P.O.V.

 

It’s been three months since we all knew that I was pregnant and ngayon 6 months na akong preggy. I’ve been having morning sickness sometimes. I feel like I’m always tired and my tummy’s beginning to buldge.

Matteo took good care of me when he was still here. He suddenly received a letter from their company branch in New York last week eh. He needed to fly there right away because of a case. Matteo was really disappointed pa naman kasi he wanted to stay with me all through my pregnancy, kaya lang hindi pwede. Excited din kasi sya about kay baby eh. We still don’t know how long he’s going to stay there pero baka daw mga two months. :(

And kung excited si Matt, mas double pa yung excitement ni Enzo sakanya. Siguro kasi he’s the real father of the child I’m carrying right now. He gives me everything I need and he visits me everyday to make sure na I’m good and I get all the things and foods I want.

Enzo’s having problems with his sched nga minsan kasi he has to divide his time for his work, for me, and for Nikka. But usually, saakin napupunta yung time niya. Kawawa nga si Nikka kasi she’s always left behind na. She doesn’t even know na ako ang laging pinupuntahan ni Enzo. I told Enzo na he needs to tell na pero sabi niya it still isn’t the right time pa and he doesn’t want to hurt Nikka daw.   

“Love! Pag boy ano gusto mo na name?” Tanong ni Enzo saakin while he was driving. I’m with Enzo and we’re on the way to the hospital para malaman naming kung ano yung gender ni baby. Kasi pwede na daw malaman ngayon eh.

“Gusto ko Adrien Keith. Haha. Prehas kayo ng first name.”

“Eh pag girl?” Excited na excited si Enzo and I’ve never seen him this happy again after namin ikasal ni Matt.

“I don’t know. You should decide. Para fair.”

“Gusto ko kasai pag girl, Allyson eh. It’s really cute.” He said then he held my tummy with his left hand while his other hand continued driving. “Hello, baby. I’m your daddy.” He smiled and continued to drive.

Hindi ko napigilan ang smile ko when I see Enzo this happy again. I’m thankful na dahil kay baby, naging happy ulit sya and he’s starting to be his self again. I’m happy din na he’s been dating Nikka the past few months. At least alam ko na, Enzo’s going to be loved by a wonderful girl which happened to be my husband’s cousin.
