I am english and therefore am going to set it in an English school, because that's the only school system I know. Sorry if it's confusing, but please bare with me. Prologue
My name is Katniss Everdeen. I am 16 years old and live in district 12 with my mother and sister. My best friend is Gale Hawthorne and I attend The District Academy.
Gale is in my year, and it is our final year there from now. He is my only friend really, although Madge Undersee usually hangs around with us, so I considor her a friend as well and usually we have been lucky to be in the same classes all together.
I don't have a boyfriend, although there is this person I have a crush on...
He is the hottest guy in school, and of course, he's in the popular group. Peeta Mellark. He has blonde hair and blue eyes, and he doesn't know my name...
Anyway... This is my life in high school...
