Y/Ns POV
We stood in silence, looking at each other, the boys could tell by the look on my face that something was wrong and it took a while for one of us to begin talking because of how shocked we were that somebody broke in our house.
Jack approaches me and I had him over the note, with my hands shaking in terror. He reads the note aloud:
"Give us her back, or this note will be the least of your problems. Mark my words."
"...who do you think it was" I said trying to break the ice.
"I don't know Y/N... I really don't know" Jack sighed.
"We're not safe.. are we?"
Nobody spoke up to answer my question, I understood why because nobody could promise what was going to happen.
"You guys never had these problems before I came here, what if I'm just a bad luck charm for you, I'm ruining your lives just being here" I wipe the tears from under my eyes with the wrist of my hoodie.
"Don't you dare say that Y/N, you are one of the best things that has happened to us" Jonah tries to comfort me.
"What if it's the orphanage.. what if they want me back?"
Nobody replied.
"Can't you see?" I stand directly in front of all of the boys' eyelines. "If I don't go back, then you boys will get hurt, I can't let that happen to you"
Daniel lifts up my hands and holds onto them lightly, I look up at him.
"I for one am prepared to risk it all, there's no way that we are giving you back"
My head sinks into hoodie collar, trying to wipe away the tears as Daniel said that one statement.
"Y/N, this isn't anything to do with you, but are you able to go into your room while we discuss what to do"
"Yeah.. uh.. sure"
I slowly walked up the stairs as the boys walked into the spare room, note in hand.Daniels POV
We all walked into a separate room that had our make-shift studio booth made from towels in the corner. We had all calmed down from our first impression so now we thought seriously.
"So who do you think wrote that" I begin the conversation.
"There's only a few people that we can expect it to be, either the orphanage or her uncle" Zach suggested.
"Why would the orphanage threaten us though? They are meant to be kind? And her uncle.. he's in prison?" I reply.
"There's nobody else that we can predict would do such a thing"
We come to the conclusion to call our management team so that we could have a bodyguard hired for us in case anything bad was going to happen.
Jonah calls our management and a bodyguard was sent out for us, they would stand there for 12 hours before changing shifts with another, Jonah then calls repair workers to fix the window.
"I can't imagine what Y/N is thinking right now" Zach lets out a deep sigh as he tilted his head down towards his feet.Y/Ns POV
That's when I decided that it was time to leave, to go back to the orphanage. It wasn't safe here, I was putting the boys safety and livelihood in jeopardy and that wasn't fair on them. I could tell that the boys would be trying to resolve the solution for quite a while, so that's when I decided it would be perfect time to sneak away. I'll miss these guys, I really will, but I don't belong with this luxury life. I began to pack my suitcase.
Jonahs POV
Somehow I didn't feel endangered, I felt at peace. Maybe it was a sign that everything was going to be alright for us... I hope. However like Daniel said before, I'm willing to risk it all if it means to keep Y/N with us, she doesn't understand how much we care about her and I wish she did, life without her simply wouldn't be the same. Sure, this past month or so has been strange, and sure, it hasn't been positive impacts on us, but moments like that are what make us human, you make mistakes and you learn from them. We just need to hope and pray that this whole situation will brush over us now with a bodyguard on their way. To take my mind off of things, I live the spare room and walk into the front room, turning on the tv as an escape from life.
To my surprise, we were on the news, it was Access Hollywood interviewing us on how our band formed and all of our crazy antics, watching these made me smile and it reminded me that at the end of a dark tunnel is a gleaming light, although it may take time to get to the light, it will come eventually.
Corbyn came and sat next to me, he obviously had the same idea on trying to clear out our thoughts.
"I'm scared... Jonah" Corbyn sighs.
"Huh?" I want him to repeat.
"I just want Y/N to be safe... yknow?" Corbyn explains.
"I think we all do, it isn't nice to think that there is danger roaming through our family and there isn't much we can do about it"Suddenly I hear a smash of glass from the kitchen, I stand up and go to investigate in case it was another figure exploring our house. I open the door fast and walk into the open plan kitchen to see Y/N.. with her suitcase by her side.
"Where are you going?" I ask slowly and with disappointment.
"Away.." she says.
"You can't go.." I say back to her.
"I can't stay here Jonah, you're going to end up getting killed because of me.. and I can't let that happen to any of you, I'm not worth the fuss"
"There's more danger out there Y/N.. don't you see?"
"There isn't where I'm going.." she sighs.
"Where are you going?"
"Back to the orphanage.."
