Y/Ns POV

The bus took off from the front of my adopted families' house and Bill sounded the horn as we departed. I decided to jump out from my bunk so that I could go talk to the guys at the back of the bus while they were looking at their phones.
I sat on a separate chair that rested against the wall.
Corbyn grinned as he looked up from his phone, pushing his hair to the side out of his face.
"I'm so happy that you are able to come on tour with us Y/N" he expressed.
The other boys looked up as they realised that I had sat down.
"It really is gonna be an experience, I would've never left my little 'LA bubble' if it weren't for you guys"
"Speaking of which, what am I going to be doing while you guys are performing?" I asked, with my head tilted to the side.
"You can do whatever you want really, watch from the crowd, help out backstage" Jonah offered.
"If.. you don't mind me asking... Y/N" Zach sighed.
"What happened to you back at the house?.." He added on.

"It's a long story" I sighed back.
"If you'd really want to know, one of my old friends from the orphanage was given up by her adopted parents and she was lonely so she brought me back" I paused.
"Wait wait wait.. so she literally just wanted someone to talk to? So she brought you away from us?" Jack questioned.
"Exactly that.." I say.

"Once you get in that orphanage, you aren't allowed to leave unless someone comes to adopt you"
"We sent a postcard to the orphanage, did you not get it sent to you?" Daniel asked.
"Nope.. nothing" I then had a blank face, realising that the boys did want to see how I was doing.
"I think that Kayla must've gotten it.." I sigh.
"We talked in the dining hall when she tried to apologise" I added on vaguely, purposely avoiding to mention our fight so that the boys didn't worry.
"I moved rooms and then the new family adopted me, they asked if I wanted to go to a concert and.. there I was" I finished.

"Wow.. you've been on one heck of a journey" Jack gasped.
"But what did you guys get up to?"
"Well, when we woke up after you got tased, we thought of possible places you could've gone to and sent that postcard then management told us that we had to go on tour, whether we liked it or not" Jack admitted.
"Oh my god.. I'm so so sorry that you guys had to see that" I sniffled as I looked at my feet, ashamed that they had to witness the situation.
"It's not your fault Y/N, look on the bright side, we're okay, and most importantly you're okay. And best of all, we are going on tour together!" Jack tried to lighten the mood.
"You're right, but I still feel bad" I admitted.
"Don't be, everything is going to be okay" Jack said as he stood up and brought me in for a hug and I quietly cried on his shoulder.
His hugs were the best.

Time went by fast and before we knew it, we were approaching San Fransisco as said by Bill, our bus driver.
Jonah and Corbyn had been playing on the Xbox for the past hour, non-stop challenging each other to another game when one of them lost. I played a few games, I beat Jonah a few times but I never beat Corbyn, then again he does play video games in his free time so there's no surprise in my loss.
We sped past downtown San Fransisco with our eyes taped to the windows, gazing at the sky scrapers that lined the lively streets.
The venue was at the end of the street and there were fans already lined up, waiting to hopefully get themselves a front row view of the concert.
We drove around to the back of the venue and quickly sneaked through the door into the backstage dressing rooms. Tyler had followed us to San Fransisco and he awaited in the main hall to give the staff of the venue and why don't we's management a briefing on how the show was to be planned out, from song order to stage lighting.
Tyler handed out the song plan to each of us to read over and the boys ran onto the stage to practice their choreography while management went backstage, of course I stayed to watch the boys practice because I knew it would be funny to be the only person watching.
They ran through all of the song choreography and they sat at the edge of the stage to talk to me.
"This really is an upgrade from the last tour isn't it, last tour you just sat with microphones" I laughed as they smiled at me.
"Yeah they really did go extra with this tour" Daniel laughed back.
"So what am I going to be doing while you guys are performing?" I questioned.

The boys looked at each other for a brief moment, plastering a concerning smirk across their faces, they were up to something. I just stood looking at them with my head tilted in confusion.
"Spill the tea, what have you got planned?"
"Well, we were gonna ask.. if you wanted to be the pre-show singer?" Zach smiled.
