Chapter 27: Words I Didnt Say

Y/Ns POV

Before the lights began to lift, we were stood in the dark, I was stood at the front of the stage, awaiting the performance. All we could hear was the voices of the singers while we couldn't see them. "You had my focus... I can't control it"
I knew the words, and I didn't quite know why, I mouthed along as the lights began to lift.
"I find your magic, in every moment"
This was odd.
The lights finally revealed the singers, I looked up at their faces.
"Zach... Jonah... Jack... Corbyn... Daniel.. I can't get away from these boys" I whispered to myself as my eyes panned onto each of the boys on the stage while I had a look of shock and disappointment. Shock because I didn't know I would see them again, disappointment because the last time I saw these guys was when I was going to the orphanage and then I was tased. Oh my god.. I feel so bad that they had to see that.
They continued on with the song while I debated with my own thoughts inside of my head. They finished singing Just To See You Smile and they had a moment of pause between songs so that they could talk to their fans, they continued with the rest of the show before having a Q&A to finish.
"So.. if you don't know us, we're why don't we, if you don't know us, then hello parents" Daniel laughed.
"Let us introduce ourselves" Daniel gestures to the rest of the boys.
"I'm Jack" Jack stepped forward
"I'm Corbyn" stepping forward, the rest of the boys did the same routine of stepping forward.
"I'm Jonah"
"I'm Daniel"
"And I'm Zach"
This was their first concert ever since they came to rescue me from my uncle the first time, sure they've been to radio interviews when I was in the orphanage for the second time, but they hosted the performance strangely well considering the struggle that I've put them through.
I assume they are doing a Q&A just to clear things up because of them running off of the stage and cancelling concerts etc and this was understandable because if I was a mega fan of theirs then I'd want them to spill the tea.

"So, to end this show, we thought we would send off with a Q&A so that if you've ever had any burning questions to ask us, then this is your time" Daniel announced.
Mutters went around the venue of fans getting excited and anxious over what question they're going to ask and if they're gonna be able to ask it before anyone else.
"Okay so, Eben, please go to people who want to ask questions, raise your hand if you do"
So then Eben roamed around the venue with people screaming at him because they were eager to ask the boys a question.
Eben eventually made his first selection.

"Is there any exciting announcements that you guys are gonna make soon?" the fan asked.
"We've actually got some exciting news to announce sooner than you think" Jonah teased which sent everyone questioning themselves and each other what they think it can be.
Another fan asked a question after this.

"Can you describe each other in one word" they desired.
Daniel took the lead in giving everyone words.
"Okay so me, what do you guys think describes me?"
"Innocent" Jack admitted.
"What about Jonah?"
"Tease" Corbyn laughed.
"Zach?"
"Red" Jonah said which sent a laugh to scatter across the venue.
"Jack?"
"Short" Zach laughed.
"WELL THANKS ZACH" Jack said to Zach as he tilted his head towards him.
"And finally, what about Corbyn"
"BEAN!" Someone shouted from within the crowd, the boys just went along with it.

This Q&A went for around 30 minutes and Eben went back and forth across the hall finding people to get questions from.
"Final question guys!" Eben said through the microphone.
He went to the back of the hall to allow people to answer a question and a girl that I couldn't see because she was so far back questioned.
"What have you been doing for these past few weeks?"

"Well.. that's a long story" Daniel said.
The crowd stared at him, wanting an answer, so they decided to give in and answer the question truthfully.
"We've been all over, as some of you know we met our friend Y/N through adopting her in the orphanage nearby, we went to Florida because of a situation we had to deal with and came back. We decided that we couldn't keep her anymore because of our busy lifestyles"

Now.. I know what you're thinking, why am I not upset about Daniel lying about why I left, but in a way.. I'm glad he said it that way. He chose to avoid the fact I left on my own just to save me a little bit of an uproar.
The crowd went silent.
"We don't know where she is now, but we know that she is..."
"Over here" I said to them from the crowd.
Everyone in the venue glanced at me, including the boys, I could tell that they were told to not let anything stop the show, so they looked back up and closed the show professionally, I understood why they did that.

"We hope you've enjoyed the show, we're Why Don't We, GOODNIGHT LA!!" Daniel said as the curtains fell and the lights dimmed on the stage. The crowd finished screaming and they left the venue after some time, I had to stay obviously to make sure that nothing was damaged.

Jack walked out from backstage and titled his head around the corner.
"PSSST, Y/N!" He whispered and gestured for me to go to him.
I ran over and gave him a hug before he took my hand
"Y/N? Where are you going?" I heard a voice behind me. Jack then ran off with our hands connected and he lead me backstage where the rest of the guys were stood waiting for me.

"Y/N, we have something to tell you. And it's pretty exciting." Jack grinned.
