Chapter 16~Is This Right?~ Tyler's P.O.V~

"Your crazy Casandra!! We don't even know if it will work, now one know's!"

Mark came into the room and was not at all shocked by the yelling but was surprised by the body in the spare room.

"Everyone calm down. What is the problem?"

"Cassie here wants to turn Gunner into one of us so he could live."

"What's so bad about that?" Mark questioned.

"No one know's if it even works. There's no telling what it would do to his body. And we have no idea what is going to happen to us in the process of him changing. He could either kill us or accept us." I answered back with a attitude.

Cassie rolled her eyes at my response to Mark. I understand where she comes from this. She loves him and i can't tell her how this will affect their relationship. She would rather him be upset with her and alive, then love her and dead. But, there is literally no telling what could happen to all of us. He could go insane and kill a bunch of people or he could become a hunter and kill a bunch of us.

Cassie disappeared after i spaced out. I went into the spare room and saw her holding his arm.

"Cassie??" I quietly spoke.

Her body quickly turned to my voice and looked at me.

"I have to do this Tyler. You may not agree with my decisions but this feels right."

I nodded my head and kept my mouth shut. Cassie opened her mouth and changed her teeth into a set of wolf teeth. She bit down on his wrist and then quickly let go.

"How long do we have to wait?" I asked.

"As far as i know, two hours maybe three." Cassie answered.

I nodded in response and headed out of the room and waited. Two hours later i heard a large gasp from the spare room and Cassie running out of the room to come and get me.

"Tyler! Come here!! Quickly!!"

I quickly stood up from where my seat was and rushed into the spare room to see Gunner sitting up and alive.

"Nice to see you up and wake."

"What happened to me? All i remember is that guy plunging a knife into my heart."

"Cassie, let me explain it to him."

Cassie nodded and left the room. I shut the door and began to explain what happened after he had died. That Cassie had turned him into what he and his sister were.

"Wow. She saved me. But, why would she? I haven't done anything to deserve her loyalty and her love."

"You may think you don't deserve her love but, she loves you. I may not like you as much as her but i will accept you as one of us."

I held my hand out and waited for him to take it. Gunner took my hand and shook it. He seemed to be hesitant at first when talking my hand but, realized that it was safe to take his hand. He stood up and was a bit wobbly but managed to gain his balance. He walked out of the room and went over to Cassie who was sitting on the couch. Mark looked up and tapped Cassie's leg. She looked up and looked over at Gunner. She had the face of sadness and guilt.

"I know that if you never want to see me again or absolutely hate me for what i did, i completely understand."

Gunner shook his head and responded,

"I don't hate you. I understand why you did it and i am thankful you did what you did."

"But, do you think this is right?"
