[Hermione's POV]

It had been two days since Draco had been staying at her place and she missed him. She missed his presence, his hair, his eyes, his peppermint cologne she just missed him.

Hermione sighed and apparated to work. Today she had two meetings, a mountain of paper work to go through and she had dinner with the Minister along with the other head-of-departments. Cheryl, her personal assistant, placed a cup of coffee on her desk. She had fairyfloss pink hair and always wore too many rings on her fingers. "A cappuccino with an extra shot of coffee just the way you like it."

"Thanks," Hermione thanked her as she took a sip of her coffee.

"Oh and by the way, Kevin wanted me to give you this croissant. He said that you always have meetings on Wednesdays."

"Well I do, I'll be sure to thank him."

"You know, he knows more about your schedule than I do and I'm your PA."

Hermione laughed, "It's not that surprisingly since every time I go and buy a coffee I always complain to him."

"Maybe he likes you," her PA wiggled her eyebrows.

"Cher, Kevin's gay."

"So? Just because he has a boyfriend, doesn't mean he's gay. He could be bisexual."

Hermione gave up and took another sip from her coffee and started her paperwork while the pink haired girl continued to debate with herself whether is gay or not. Moments later, Harry popped his head through the door, "Malfoy wants to see you."

"He does?"

"Apparently, let's go now before he destroys my office." Harry laughed as he said that and broke of a bit of her croissant and popped it in his mouth. "Damn, this is good. Kevin's?"

Hermione nodded and handed his the rest of her croissant, "You can have the rest if you want, I'm not that hungry." He took the croissant and beamed as he took another bite.

Draco was wearing an all black suit spinning around on Harry's chair, picking random things up and setting them back down. "Oh dude, come on!" Harry threw his hands up, "I said you could wait in my office, not rearrange everything on my desk."

Draco shrugged as he walked over to Hermione, gently grabbed her by the waist and placed a kiss on his lips. It was a gentle kiss, a brush of their lips even yet it sent fireworks through her veins.

"No PDA please!" Harry called jokingly from his desk making Hermione flush crimson.

"Hey, do you wanna go out for lunch?" Draco asked.

Hermione checked her watch, "Only if I'll get back before three."

"Done." He grinned at her and took her hand, "Oi Potter, make sure Miss Granger's work has been sorted."

Harry rolled his eyes, "Yeah whatever Malfoy."

"Harry, you don't have to." The brunette glared at the blonde haired boy who seemed to have shrunken into the shadows.

"Nah Mione, I'll take care of it. Go have some lunch."

"We'll buy you something,"

"Don't have to," he waved the croissant around, "I already have something to eat."

Hermione laughed, "I'll be back for the meeting." She promised.

***

As soon as they had gotten out of the ministry Draco apparated them to his terrace. Hermione hadn't braced herself before they apparated so when the landed she stumbled and pulled Draco down with her as she fell.

"Owww..."

"Pulling me on top of you already, Granger? We haven't even had lunch yet!" She looked up to find a pair of silver orbs staring back at her and his cocky grin. Immediately she flushed bright red and pushed him off her earning a groan from Draco.

"I - I didn't! Oh, screw you, Malfoy." She muttered as she brushed the dust off her skirt.

"Well I'd love to screw you too." Draco wiggles his eyebrows at her and Hermione didn't think that her eyes could roll back any further.

Why does everything have to backfire on me?

Draco took her hand and lead her to a small table with a candle in the middle and a leg of roast chicken on each of their plates, along with mashed potatoes, balsamic salad and a glass of wine.

"Do you like it?" He asked hopefully, Merlin, he was adorable.

"I don't know what to say, it brilliant! Thank you for doing this."

"I didn't know if you'd like roast chicken or not but at least I knew you'd like the candle. It's peppermint after all." He winked as he scooped a spoonful of mashed potatoes and put it in his mouth, making loud savouring noises. "Please, after you."

"Oh haha and I actually thought you had manners!" She softly shook her head a cut of a bit of the roast. "Mmmm! This is really good, like really good! Did you make this?"

"Yup. Astoria's recipe."

And for a moment she froze, right down to the blood in her veins. Was it right that she was having lunch with Draco? What about Astoria? Hermione hadn't heard from her since that incident at The Burrow.

"What's going on between you and Astoria?"

"We-we're not together anymore. Officially divorced."

"Divorced?"

"Don't worry, things ended smoothly."

She pushed her thoughts to the back of her head and took a huge swallow of wine.

"Woah, slow down!" Draco placed his hands over hers, "Hermione, I don't want you to worry about Astoria, okay? Just enjoy the date I've prepared."

"So it's a date?" Hermione said jokingly.

"I mean, a lunch it's not really a date - I mean-"

"I never said that there was any wrong with this being a date." She said softly, smiling at him.

"Oh." Draco seemed to be utterly speechless, "Then I guess it's a date."

She didn't know when he had gotten up out of his seat, only when he'd cupped her face and pull her into a passionate kiss. She laced her fingers through his blonde locks, pulling herself closer and closer to him until she had completely forgotten about her lunch. It felt as if she was travelling through time, back to when they were still at Hogwarts and things were still simple. He gently nipped at her bottom lip, sending ripples of fire through her.

When they pulled away Draco let out a soft laugh, "So does this means that we're back together?"

"Only if you want to."

"Then I guess we are back together."

Sorry I haven't updated for a long time again but I'll try for another chapter this weekend.
