"WHERE'S THE ICE-CREAM GONE, MUM?" I hear Michael yell from downstairs.

"I DONT KNOW DEAR!"

"SKY, HAVE YOU SEEN THE IC-CREAM?" He calls on me.

"NO! SHUT UP!" I yell around a mouthful of Ben&Jerry's cookie-dough. I've been through the stage of crying my eyes out. I did that the night of our breakup and the day after. Today is the second day after our breakup and I've turned to my good friend ice-cream. No matter what happens, my two friends Ben and Jerry will always be here for me.

I decided this morning that I might leave my house today. I haven't left since the boys show at the restaurant. Not even to watch the band practice in the garage. I need to apologise to Calum and try to explain that something like that will never ever happen again. I've already procrastinated enough today, its almost 2pm. I've just sat eating all morning feeling sorry for myself.

Scraping the tub with my spoon for the remains of cookie dough, I finish the ice-cream, licking my spoon clean and putting it on the floor next to my bed. I'll clean it later.

I give my hair a quick brush and scrape it back into a ponytail without looking in the mirror. I don't need to look in it to know that I look like crap, I feel like it and I'm more than certain that my face is still a little swollen from me crying myself to sleep from guilt and regret. I throw on a pair of dark jeans, my trainers and my MCR tee, before jogging downstairs.

"And your alive!" My brother shouts but then pauses. "Wait, shouldn't you be at school? Its a Monday."

"I need to apologise to Calum." I say, my voice sounding hoarse from the hours I've spent crying.

He looks slightly apologetic but then quickly resumes to his usual brotherly manner. "I don't want you going around their alone. I know what he's like. He'll try and make some kind of move on you and-"

"JUST SHUT UP. I screwed up, okay? I'm going to fix things." I grab a cereal bar for my late breakfast before heading out the door. I was planning on staying for some Cocopops but my brother's presence put me off.

-

I take a deep breath before knocking on Calum's door. On week days the bands practice is later on because Luke still attends school and because I wanted to watch them. I could just wait until later on to get Calum alone and apologise but I know that when I got around to it I would chicken out and not do it, so here I am.

This will be fine. You'll apologise and It'll be better. You have nothing to worry about. Nothing can possibly go wro-

The door opens showing a flushed faced Calum in only his boxers with bed hair. Its a bit late to still be sleeping is it now?

"What are you doing here?" He asks looking confused.

"I just came here to apologise. I'm so sorry. Me and Luke, we're not a thing! There's nothing between us whatsoev-" I'm cut off by a girls voice.

"Who's at the door, baby?" The girls voice calls from inside the house.

I look to Calum with wide eyes as he looks back at me, his eyes also wide. I don't think he meant me to hear that.

"W-who's that?" Hold back the tears, hold back the tears. This isn't what it sounds like.

"Its my friend." He says, his eyes not meeting mines.

"Do all your friends call you 'baby'?" I ask, not completely sure of what's happening before my eyes.

"Honey, come back to bed!" The girls voice calls and I snap. I push past a protesting Calum and walk straight up the stairs and into his bedroom.
