A/N ~ STORY ALERT NEEE NOOO NEEE NOOO NEEE NOOO *nee noo's are like sirens okay*

I've got a new story called Dear Diary I'd love for you guys to check out. Unlike the rest (and yes I've said this many times before but I it this time, chapter one is like 7 pages or something and that's dedication yo) I'm sticking with it. After severe creative constipation, my brain has had a colonoscopy and it's all good. I think my creative juices are flowing again guys my brain is all free and loose like a hippie HOPE YOU ENJOY THE CLICHE CRAP I WRITE YASSS

We step onto the tour bus expecting shouts, but the silence we receive is worse. Behind Michael's back, Calum sits with a grin and a thumbs up and Ashton sends a small smirk, but Michael only stands with crossed arms. On the bright side, his face has died down from the fire-y red it was before to his normal pale pallor. It doesn't mean I don't notice how stiff his shoulders are or how he's unconsciously tightening his hands into fists before splaying them again.

"We-" Luke starts but is cut off.

"Whatever you are now, I don't want to hear it. It also isn't happening. Skyler's been through enough and you aren't putting her through anymore. This," He thrusts out his hand, gesturing between the two of us. "Isn't as good as you think it is because it'll only turn to heartbreak. So before you say anything, no. Just no."

It takes me a moment to allow his words to sink in as I stand with my feet rooted to the floor, watching him walk toward the door. I stare rather numbly out of the window as he walks off to god knows where. That's when I snap back into focus and run toward the exit, swinging open the door.

"I LIKE LUKE A LOT AND THAT'S THE END OF IT MICHAEL. YOU NEED TO ACCEPT THAT AND GROW THE HELL UP! I CAN CHOOSE TO LEAD MY LIFE HOW I WANT TO - WHICH BY THE WAY, IS WITHOUT YOUR OPINION." I fume.

"RIGHT. OKAY SKYLER, WHATEVER." Michael yells, now quite a few metres away. He turns around only briefly to show me his middle finger.

I walk to the living area of the bus to where Luke is grinning like the Cheshire cat after my small speech and Calum is patting him on the back in what almost seems like a congratulatory manner. Ash sits a little distance away from the pair.

"I'm going to get some vegemite toast." He says, sounding somewhat out of it. Before I can ask him if he's okay, Calum starts speaking.

"So...uh," He scratches the back of his neck awkwardly but he has a happy grin on his face, teeth glistening brightly. "Thought you'd like to know that Stella finally got back to me...she's given me another chance."

"Calum, that's great!" I cry. I'm about to give him a hug when Luke's arms snake around my waist from behind and pull me back into his chest. He rests his chin on top of my head and I feel myself flush at the public display of affection. Calum raises an eyebrow at his actions but he's clearly too happy to make any comment about Luke being a tad on the possessive side.

"Elliot told me you needed to do some revision for school?" Luke asks, pressing his lips to my ear. "I need to as well, my mum is making me. Want to revise together?"

"Yeah, sure." I reply, tilting my head backward to send him a smile.

-

"I can't do it," I huff, closing the math book and sliding it across the table so that I don't need to look at it anymore. "I just can't."

Luke raises his head from reading his own revision book, showing me his beautiful face in those dorky glasses of his he uses to read. It was clear that Luke had a much greater level of concentration than I did.
