10: Surprise!

Zuma's POV:
I'm gonna skip school today. Once I leave for the bus stop, I might leave for the park.
Mrs.Weavers: "Have a nice day Zuma!"
Zuma: "I will, mom."
My mom watched me walk off to the bus stop. But once she closed that door, I ran to the park. I decided not to text anyone about it because I don't want them to persuade me to come back to school.
Marshall's POV:
Suspension had been horrible. R.I.P Snapchat streaks. I looked out my window, I saw Zuma out. I thought to myself, why not just sneak out? I opened the window and jumped out. I waked to the park.
Marshall: "Zuma!"
Zuma: "Marshall dude! You can come outside?"
Marshall: "Nah I snuck out"
Zuma: "Same. Not going to school."
Marshall: "Why?"
Zuma: "Because I liked Shimmer the day I saw her again, she rejected me. She said it was because of some reason but she won't tell me. That's not what friends are for. She got me so mad ion even wanna go to school no more."
Marshall: "Damn, bro. So, how's Everest?"
Zuma: "She misses you like crazyyy."
Marshall: "I miss her too. Hey, lemme text Everest on your phone and lemme tell her to come to the park after school. Don' tell her it's me."
Zuma: "K"
Zuma: Everest. Park after school.
Everest: K should I bring the rest?
Zuma: Nope. Just me and you, we have a lot of things to discuss.
Everest: Okay...
Everest's POV:
So Zuma told me to come to the park with him alone... weird. It must be something about Shimmer or something. Speaking of Shimmer, she walked up to me.
Shimmer: "Why that face, Everest?"
Everest: "Just a weird text message. Nothing else."
Shimmer: "Oh. I'm going to class. Seeya later."
Everest: "Okay!"
Shimmer's POV:
After class, I searched and searched. Zuma wasn't anywhere.
Shimmer: "Chase have you seen Zuma?"
Chase: "He's not here. Wonder why."
Shimmer: "I guess I know why..."
Chase: "Lemme text him to see."
Chase: Zooomerrrrrr
Chase: Zuma
Chase: Dude
Chase's POV:
I'm scared now... Zuma gets rejected by his crush, which causes a depression. Next day, he doesn't reply to texts... could he have killed himself?
Update on July 18 2019: "killed himself" nigga what💀
Shimmer: "Chase you alright?"
Chase: "I think Chase might've killed himself..."
Shimmer: "Oh my god!!! We need to tell the counselor!"
Chase: "Let's see if he's dead first... let's check his house after school."
Shimmer's POV:
I can't belive it... I rejected my friend because of a stupid secret that I'm to scared to tell and now he could be dead! I just broke down in tears.
Chase: "Shimmer It'll be okay."
Shimmer: "I just never realised how much I've cared about him!"
Chase: "cmon. I'll tell everyone to meet at Zuma's house."

At the park....
Zuma: "Dude Chase is texting me!!"
Marshall: "Don't even read it, bro."
Zuma: "I know. But they really need to know how bad that b*tch broke my heart."
Marshall: *chuckles*
Zuma: "Wanna go to 7-11 or something?"
Marshall: "Sure, let's go."

After school...
Zuma: "The bus should be coming any sec so I gotta act like I just came back."
Marshall: "I know."

They all rode on Zuma's bus and got off.
Chase: "Welp, moment of truth."
Chase knocked on the door.
Shimmer: "Hi. Is Zuma here?"
Mrs.Weavers: "Isn't he at school?"
They all shook their heads.
Mr.Weavers: "That lil' boy better not be skipping school again. He gettin' a real whoopin' this time."
Skye: "Let's just go home... Everest, where are you going?"
Everest: "I left something at the park..."
Zuma: "Hey Evs."
Everest: "Zuma! Did you skip school?"
Zuma: "Yeah. I didn't want to go. I got embarrassed infront of the whole school."
Everest: "Well, the group went to your house because they thought you killed yourself and your parents kinda found out..."
Zuma: "Dang it! Welp, getting the belt now. Anyways..."
Everest: "What did you need me for?"
Zuma: "I don't need you for anything."
Everest: "Then Why'd you call me here?"
Zuma: "This guy does..."
Marshall just popped out from the slide.
Everest: "Marshall!!!!"
Everest ran to Marshall, jumping on him. Her legs were wrapped around his waist and they kissed.
Chase: "I heard screaming!"
Skye: "Let's see if Everest is alright!"
They all got to the park and saw Marshall and Everest making out, and Zuma sitting on the swings.
All: "Marshall? Zuma?"
Marshall pushed away from the sound.
Marshall: "Guys!!!"
Chase: "How are you able to go outside?"
Marshall: "I snuck out. I missed you guys so much."
Skye: "Ahem. You lost our 168 day streak!"
Marshall: "Not my fault!"
Chase: "Zuma! You really skipped class!"
Shimmer: "Zuma!!! I was so worried!"
Zuma: "Why would you care if I'm alright?" Zuma asked, turning his head away.
Shimmer: "Zuma, I'm sorry! Fine, if you want to know the truth, you guys all can know.
She told the whoooole story to the group.
Shimmer: "And I didn't want the same thing to happen again that's why I kept avoiding you."
Zuma: "Shimmer, you didn't have to hide it. I don't want to be a dad right now, but I can help parent your baby. I don't want her growing up without a dad. Shimmer, will you go out with me?"
Shimmer: "Yes. Yes I will."

All: "Awww!"
Marshall: "I guess we should all get going. See you guys later!"
