21: Back Together

Chase's POV:
Welp, today's the day we're going back to school. Aw come on just a few more days! I have to go back to school and everything's gonna be awkward! Uhgh please no... Anyways, I got dressed and headed out to school. I decided to walk alone, well with Rubble because he's my brother of course. Welp. I walk into school. Everything seems normal. Until Sandy walks in. Gulp
Sandy: "Hey guys."
Marshall: "Hey."
Rocky: "Sup."
Everest: "Hi!"
I didn't say a word.
Shimmer: "Chase you seem quiet today. Anything going on?" She asked as Clint arrived.
Chase: "I-It's nothing. I-I'm alright."
Clint: "Hey guys."
Marshall: "Hey."
Rocky: "Sup."
Everest: "Hi!"
Clint: "Chase you seem quiet today. Anything going on?"
Okay, did the exact same scene just go on again?
Sandy turned her head.
Marshall: "Hey Chase let's talk."
They walk to a spot where no one would watch.
Marshall: "What's going on?"
Chase: "Me and Sandy broke up."
Marshall: "Why?"
Chase: "Because I love Skye."
Marshall: "Oh, okay. But Sandy looks hurt."
Chase: "But she's the one that broke up with me."
Marshall: "Cmon, talk to her!"
Chase: *sighs* "Fine."
They start to walk back to the group.
Chase: "Hey Sandy can we talk?"
Sandy: "Umm, Okay."
They walked to the same place where Chase and Marshall were.
Chase: "So I-"
Sandy: "Chase it's okay. You like Skye. I understand that. I really like you Chase but I guess you deserve to be with the person you like."
Chase: "Thanks, Sandy. I hope you're not too hurt."
Sandy: "Nah I'm okay! Now go talk to Skye!"
Chase: "Okay! Thanks Sandy!"
Sandy's POV:
I told Chase I was alright. But deep inside, I'm really not. I really like Chase but Skye... he likes Skye. I need to get Skye out the way so we can be together! But if Chase finds out about my plans he'll never even like me as a friend! I'm just gonna have to move on somehow.
Zuma's POV:
So, me and Shimmer are cool now I guess. I still watch Sparkle for her while her and Clint are at school so that's good I guess. I decided to take her for a walk on the boardwalk. I grabbed her stroller and started walking to the beach.
Lunch time...
Marshall: "Chase you got this."
Chase: "I can do it!"
Chase walks over to Skye.
Chase: "H-Hey Skye."
Skye: "Oh hey Chase. What's up?"
Chase: "Nothing much. Can we talk? Privately?"
Skye: "Uhh okay."
Chase and Skye walk out the lunchroom
Skye: "What's up?"
Chase: "Well you obviously know me and Sandy broke up by now..."
Skye: "But why Chase? I thought you two liked eachother!"
Chase: "But Skye I love you. While me and Sandy were together you acted like you forgotten about me and that hurt me."
Skye: "Chase I knew I acted like I never really liked you but I do I just pretended not to care because I was so heartbroken. I guess it was my fault for leaving you for the wrong guy anyway."
Chase: "So... wanna get back together?"
Skye: "Of course Chase!"
They walk back in, holding hands.
Everest: "Are they?"
Marshall: "Yep."
Chase: "Well guys, great news."
Clint: "You and Skye are back together."
Chase: "How'd you know?"
Clint: "Just a clue - asking her to speak with you privately and come back holding hands."
Chase: "Haha. Yeah."
Sandy's POV:
I feel so hurt now. I don't even feel like sitting with them anymore. When they came back holding hands, I hid my emotions with a fake smile. Chase and Skye smiled back. I feel like such a bad person for what I was doing earlier...
