24: Hooker

Hey guys before you start reading, read this first. Most of you probably won't even read this, but oh well. Chapters are gonna be a bit shorter for the next few days because I have school you know.

Next day...
At school, the group was talking together, as always.
Chase: "Hey Marshall, Clint, come with me."
Rocky: "Can I come too?"
Marshall: "Umm, no."
Rocky's POV:
First I can't seem to get a date, now all the boys in the group talk without me? Am I that bad of a social outcast?
Chase: "Okay. Luckily, Me, Clint, Rocky, and Phoenix are all in period 4 together. That's when we're gonna get them together."
Marshall: "Too bad I'm not in the class with you guys but, how are you gonna do it?"
Clint: *smirks* "I have a plan."

Skye: "Have you guys realised that the boys have been talking privately recently? They've never been telling us things."
Shimmer: "Yeah I wonder why."
Sandy: "And why they never let Rocky talk with them."
Sandy: "This whole thing seems soo weird."
Period 4....
Clint: "Aight Chase let's do this!"
Teacher: "Okay we're gonna be doing groups today. Pick your partner now."
Rocky: "Hey Chase do you wanna-"
Chase: "Sorry I'm with Clint."
Rocky: "Oh."
Clint: "Great! Now all we need is to get Phoenix without a group either."
Random Girl: "Hey Phoenix do you wanna-"
Clint: "Sorry, we're working together."
Random Girl 2: "Hey Pheonix-"
Chase: "Sorry, she's with me."
The funny thing is, Phoenix doesn't even realize that all these people want to work with her because Chase and Clint keep avoiding it.
Random Dude: "Hey Ph-"
Clint: "Sorry, Phoenix is with me."
Random Dude: "Uh, I was asking Philip."
Clint: "Oh. Sorry."
Teacher: "Okay! Who does not have a partner?"
Rocky and Phoenix both raise their hands.
Teacher: "How about you two work together."
Rocky: "Uhh, uhhh. Okay."
Rocky's POV:
I was sweating. I've never worked with a girl before. I look and Chase and Clint and they smirk. Wait, did they plan this? No no no I can't. Wait, am I crushing on Phoenix? No way she would like me back.
Rocky: "O-Okay l-let's start."
Phoenix: "Rocky why do you seem so nervous?"
She knows my name!!
Rocky: "U-Uhh it's nothing. L-let's just start working."
After a few minutes, Phoenix broke the silence.
Phoenix: "Why did you dye your hair brown?"
Rocky: "Uhh, ummmm, umm b-because I didn't like the grey hair?"
Phoenix: "Rocky tell the truth."
Rocky: "Ummm...."
Phoenix: "Rocky you can tell me anything. I can keep a secret."
OMG. Does she wanna keep a secret with me? Oh my god. That made me blush a little and she noticed it, she giggled a bit.
Phoenix: "Please Rocky..."
I didn't say anything.
Phoenix: "Here."
She kissed me on my cheek. I completely froze.
Phoenix: "Now can you tell me? Oh, I guess that was a bit too much."
Clint: "Wooh! Yeah! Rocky you did it!"
Chase: "He didn't ask her on a date stupid!"
Phoenix's POV:
Okay, what is going on. Rocky blushes and freezes when I gently kiss him on the cheek in a friendly way. A/N from future me: how tf do you kiss someone in a friendly way i don't even remember why i said that 😂 anyways, carry on.And his friends are, encouraging him to ask me out? His friends walk over to him.
Chase: "Rocky you okay?"
Clint: "Rocky dude, snap out of it."
Chase: "Wake up!"
Chase slapped Rocky and he's still frozen.
Clint: "I have an idea! Rocky. Phoenix said she likes you too!"
Chase face palmed.
Rocky: "What really!?"
Chase steps on Clint's toe.
Clint: "Agh! What was that for?"
Phoenix: "Umm, Chase and umm Cliff?"
Clint: "It's Clint."
Phoenix: "Right. Can I talk to you guys?"
Chase: "Umm, okay."
They walk to another area of the classroom.
Phoenix: "What is going on?"
Clint: "Well, Rocky likes you but he's too shy so he dyed his hair thinking girls will like him but that failed miserably and he sucks at talking to girls."
Chase: "When will you ever shut up?"
Phoenix: "Umm, okay."
They walk back.
Phoenix: "Rocky?"
Rocky: "Y-Yeah?"
Phoenix: "Is it true you like me?"
Rocky: "Well, ummm."
Rocky looks over to Chase who points at Clint. Chase mouthes "he told her!"
Rocky: "Y-Yeah."
Phoenix: "How about we take a walk by the park after school. Welp, bell rung, seeya later!"
She kissed Rocky on the cheek again, and he froze again.
Phoenix: "Whoops."
Clint: "Rocky Chase stole your lunchbox."
Rocky: "Chase!!"
Clint: "Finally you're thawed. Let's get to lunch."
Lunch time...
Shimmer: "Can you guys explain?"
Clint: "Explain what?"
Everest: "Why you guys kept talking privately and left Rocky alone?"
Rocky froze again.
Marshall: "See what you did Everest. Don't turn him into your own kind!"
Everest: "Umm, first of all, I'm not made of ice."
While they continued to argue playfully Chase continued.
Chase: "We hooked up Rocky with a girl."
Sandy: "Yay!! Good for you Rocky! Umm, Rocky?"
Clint: "Rocky there's a school shooter!"
He still froze.
Clint: "Damn it!"
Chase: "Rocky look Phoenix!"
Rocky: "What!? Where?"
Chase: "Wow, you're right, Clint. It does feel good."
Skye: "Ooh so you guys hooked him up with Phoenix?"
Clint: "Yeah."
Everest: "...But he's unfrozen now!"
Marshall: "I don't care!"
Everest: "Admit you're wrong!"
Marshall: "Never!"
All: "Couple goals!"
They stared at the rest, frozen.
Marshall: "Well, bell's rung. Let's get to class."
Clint: "Nice try, Marshes. But that didn't save you."

I found this chapter funny while writing it, especially with the dialogue between Clint and Chase. I don't know about you guys.
