My POV

My phone started to ring aloud. "Ugh" I try to reach for my phone in the night stand but it fell to the ground

Oh gosh, I don't wanna get that. I gave up and resumed my sleep but my phone continued to ring. Agxigakxb

"Okay, okay, I'm getting you, geez!" I shout and open my eyes forcefully to grab my phone on the floor.

It's too far! I reach for it but guess what. Yeah, that's right, I fell down. I groaned in pain and grab my phone answering the call

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" Soonyoung shouted on the other side of the line

"YA! If you're gonna wake me up in the middle of the night to say that please don't! I'm trying to sleep!"

He just laughed at me "You do know that you could have set your phone on silent"

"uhh" I paused. "I don't want to!" I shouted immediately and ended the call

I raise my phone above me to see the time. 12:02?! "What?!" I end up losing my grip on my phone and dropped it on my face. What a great start of birthday

I pull myself up to my bed. Have to regain my strength and sleep.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

"HAAA!" I sat up to the shout I heard and see Soonyoung on my door with a birthday cake

I glared at him as he continued to sing happy birthday. After he finishes he stretched the cake to me

"Soonyoung, it's midnight, and I'm hella sleepy" I say through gritted teeth

"I know, I wanted to be the first one to greet you. At the strike of 12 I sent you a birthday message in all the possible social media accounts you have." he smiled widely "That's how much I care. I'm grateful for your existence in this world and I want you to know that"

With those sincere words and that loving smile I couldn't help but soften. Darn it! I'm supposed to be mad at him

"Aish, fine fine, okay" I burst into a smile and close my eyes

I wish for good health and happiness to me, my family, friends and everyone in the world. And I wish for strength to those who is barely hanging on to life.

I open my eyes again and blow the candles out. "There! Now I'm going back to sleep" I laid back down and covered myself underneath my blanket

"Okay, rest well. Your birthday is not yet over" he say and hugged me through the blanket

I hear the door being closed and drifted to dreamland with a smile curved on my lips.

I came to school. Well it's a normal school day. Nothing to expect. Or so I thought. I entered school only to have everyone around me greet me a happy birthday that does not usually happen. Nobody really knows my birthday.
