A/N I am forwarding the time setting because the details during Lily's pregnancy would rather be boring. Anyway, enjoy. :)

August 8th, 1965.

I waddled around the home, picking empty beer bottles up.

“God dammit, Dan.” I mumbled, trying to pick some more things up.

He won't listen to me. I've asked him plenty of times to clean his shit up. I'm not his maid, I'm his wife.

I heard the front door open. I turned to my right, seeing John walk in.

John rushed towards me, “Lily, you shouldn’t be doing anything. You’re nine months pregnant!” He chuckled.

I sighed loudly, “Don’t remind me.” I mumbled.

I straighten myself up, “John, I’m about to be a mother. I have to keep this damn house clean somehow.” I said, annoyed.

If Dan won't do it, I will. I don't want my child to be growing up in a filthy home.

John smirked, “Your American accent is adorable.” He blurted.

I smirked, blushing. "I like your accent as well." I giggled.

John blushed.

I huffed, gently rubbing my stomach. “Any day now, the doctor said.” I frowned.

I'm overdue by a few days. I'm uncomfortable all the time. Dan just complains because I'm not as fast I used to be. Well, I'm pregnant, Dan. Deal with it.

John smiled, “You still look good for nine months!” He chuckled.

I smirked, “Don’t be such a Paul McCharmly.” I said, glaring at him.

John smirked.

John started to look around, “Where is Dan anyway?” He curiously asked.

I sighed, shrugging. “As if I know. I gave him the freedom during my pregnancy just as long as he does-” I stopped myself.

I don't think John Lennon, of all people, should know about this.

John looked at me, “As long as he doesn’t what, Lily?” He asked.

I looked up at him, “I can’t say it.” I squeaked out.

John’s face became serious. “Spit it.” He growled.

I harshly turned my head towards him, “Don’t snap at me, Lennon.” I spat back.

John frowned, “Sorry..” He mumbled, embarrassed.

He sighed, “Just tell me, please?” He begged, helping me sit down.

I sighed loudly. “I gave Dan the freedom to go out as long as he doesn’t touch me.” I quickly said.

John’s eyes widened, “Touch you like how?” He asked, becoming more and more serious.

I glared at him, “It doesn’t matter, John!” I sternly said, slowly getting up from the couch.

“Oh, yes it does!” He exclaimed, getting up.

“Lily, what is Dan doing to you?” John sternly said, raising his voice.

My head snapped towards him, “It doesn’t fuckin’ matter! Layoff!” I shouted.

It's none of your damn business, Lennon!

John glared at me, “I’m just trying to help.” He sternly said.

I groan. “You aren’t doing a fine job since I don't need any help!” I shouted back.
