I fell asleep on the couch where George had left me to go and buy an engagement ring.
This is crazy! There is no way he'd actually get married this quick, nor am I even ready for another marriage!
I heard the door open and quickly closed.
Guess he's back.
I heard footsteps come closer to the couch, then hearing a soft chuckle.
"Tis a true sleeping beauty this one is.." George quietly said.
I tried my hardest not to smile, slowly opening my eyes. I saw George standing in front of me, smiling.
"Looks like somebody waited for me" George smiled.
I slowly got up from the couch.
"I have you a gift, Lily" George knelt down on one knee.
My heart started racing, Oh my god, Oh My god..
"Lily Moore, you don't have to give an exact answer right now, obviously. But will you do me thee honor and consider becoming my wife?" George smiled, I could tell he wasn't prepared just the same as me.
I smiled at him, "Well, Mr. Harrison..... I'll consider it indeed" I giggled.
His grin became even more wide as he picked me up, hugging me and spinning me around.
Once he put me down, we gazed into each other's eyes for a moment, until he spoke.
"I love you, Lily. I always have." Before I could even speak, he smashed his lips onto mine.
He trailed his hands down my body, sliding down my pants. I stopped him.
"Let's go somewhere, where no Beatle will be able to spot us." I whispered.
George, still grinning, nodded as I guided him to my bedroom.
~~~~~~
I woke up to the birds chirping, and the sun rising.
Glorious.
I turned myself around to look at George, only to see one sexy sight.
George sat on a chair he must've brought into my room.
He sat there with my acoustic guitar in his hand, with nothing on but shorts.
Mmmmm, mmmm...
I smiled at him.
"I wrote you a song, luv." George smiled at me.
If I need someone to love
You're the one that I'd be thinking of
If I needed someone
If I had some more time to spend
Then I guess I'd be with you my friend
If I needed someone
Had you come some other day
Then it might not have been like this
But you see now I'm too much in love
Carve your number on my wall
And maybe you will get a call from me
If I needed someone
Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah
If I had some more time to spend
Then I guess I'd be with you my friend
If I needed someone
Had you come some other day
Then it might not have been like this
But you see now I'm too much in love
Carve your number on my wall
And maybe you will get a call from me
If I needed someone
Ah, Ah
Once George strummed his last notes, he looked at me.
I couldn't stop blushing and I tried not to smile to wide.
"What do you think?" George asked.
"I-I loved it!" I got out of bed, walking over to him.
"That was very sweet of you, George" I said, still blushing.
"I don't think I've ever made you blush this much before, love" he smiled at me.
I covered my face with my hands, giggling.
"Aw, don't hide your face love." George said, trying to move my hands from my face.
"I want to see that pretty face of yours"
God, he knows how to make a woman blush.
I moved my hands, staring into his eyes.
"That's better" George smiled, planting a kiss on my lips.
I couldn't help but smile.
This is what love must feel like.
