Lena watched how timid Yulia was, how her hand quivered as they held hands in the dark theater, all while trying to act brave during the horror flick that Lena had picked. Lena almost laughed out loud when a sudden thud came over the speakers and prompted Yulia to nearly jump onto her lap.
"You okay?"
Lena asked, unable to keep the smile off her face though Yulia just moved away from her.
"Yeah, it startled me is all."
Yulia retorted and even in the dark Lena was sure that the brunette was blushing.
"Sure it did."
Lena responded in a whisper
"More like scared the shit out of you."
Lena retorted, earning a glare through the darkness.
"Did not."
Lena tried not to laugh aloud at that though she let it drop. However it didn't take long for Yulia to grab hold of her arm again, squealing slightly.
Lena only responded by wrapping her arm around the smaller built girl's shoulders.
"Don't worry, I'll protect you."
Lena whispered, hearing a muffled
"Shut up."
From the other girl.
Lena only responded by kissing the brunette, who didn't respond even to move away.
"This stays between us."
Yulia said in a whisper, earning a chuckle.
"I wouldn't't embarrass you like that."
