"Don't worry.. I won't tell." A feeling of relief washed over me. "Thank you so much." I thanked her. "How'd it happen?" She questioned. I nervously scratched the back of my neck. I knew this was going to be a long, uncomfortable conversation. What do I say? 'Well you see, we got drunk, started talking, and had sex?' I thought to my self. Um no. "Um, well we.. w-we just st-started talking, and um... W-we made up." She seemed convenced though uneasy about my response. "Well I'm just glad that y'all are back together." She looked as if she were about to add something else before I interrupted her. "What about you and Daryl?" I blurted a little to loudly. Everyone stopped what they were saying and converted their eyes towards us. "Sorry." I chuckled slightly. "We're good. Um, happy? Yep. Were uhh.. Together." My jaw dropped open. How could Daryl not have told me? "How long?" I spit out. "Since around the time you and Carl broke up." She lowered her voice. "And Daryl didn't tell me? I thought he trusted me?" I said mostly to myself. "Where is he?" I snapped. "His tent." She pointed. I sped walked to Daryl's tent in an angry manner. "Daryl Dixon how dare you!" He looked up from sharpening his arrows and arched his eyes brows. "Excuse me?" He said more like a statement than a question. "Why didn't you tell me about you and Beth? I thought you trusted me.." I looked down. He sighed in defeat and stood up. He placed a hand on my shoulder and forced me to look up at him. "I'm sorry I never told you. I was just.. Waiting for the right moment. We didn't know if it was going to last so we wanted to make sure before we told anyone." I sort of understood where he was coming from. "I'm sorry Daryl." I apologized. "It's dad. Okay?" My eyes lit up while I nodded my head quickly. A smile plastered on my face as I engulfed him in a bear hug. "I'll see you in the morning squirt." He kissed my forehead. "Night, dad." I waved and exited his tent. Rick, Glenn, Maggie, Beth, and Carol were all around the fire chatting as I discreetly made my way to my tent. Before I was even a foot away from the entrance, a pair of hand covered my mouth and pulled my behind a near by tree. My eyes bulged out of their sockets and I was shaking like a wet dog. "Shh.. It's just me." His deep voice was like wedding bells in my ears. "You scared the shit out of me." I playfully punched him. "You did good tonight. Didn't know you could act like that." He seemed impressed at my performance. "Thanks. You're not so bad yourself sheriff." I teased flicking his sheriff hat. "I miss you." He pouted. I giggled at his childless and brought his body closer to mine. "Then prove it." I smirked. His lips met mine once again. Both of them dancing in the moon light while my fingers twiddled his hair, and his hands clung to the back of my shirt. His hat tipped over and fell to the ground, making a thud sound. We pulled away, out of breath, and scared to death someone heard. We heard foot steps and quickly descended into a bush. I heard Rick mumble under his breath, but then walked away. Carl sighed and ended with a chuckle. "That was close." He smirked. "Ya think." I said sarcastically. "It's late." His eyes grew sad and desperate. "I never get to hang out with you anymore. I don't like pretending that we hate each other when clearly we don't." His voice cracked while speaking. "Beth knows." I admitted. He nodded his head and stood up. "I figured she did. Do you see the way she looks at us?" I nodded my head and took a deep breath. I really did miss Carl. I miss hanging out with him like we used to at the prison without having to worry about the others. If only we didn't go on that damn adventure! Though I did get reunited with Rosita... "Brooke?" Carl's voice echoed. "Hmm?" I must've been daydreaming. "Goodnight." He pecked my lips. "Night." I frowned and went to my tent.

Before I even managed to unzip the tent, Lizzie unzipped it and forcefully pulled me in. "I have to tell you something!" She squealed with excitement. "Yeah?" I asked uneasily. She took a deep, confident breath and smiled. "You and Carl are no longer together right?" She asked. "Well.. No." I had an urge to strangle her because I knew where this was leading. I bet she likes Carl. "Okay well he broke your heart, and I figured we'd break something of him." She smirked evilly. "Lizzie, what is it?" My heart was beating out of my chest, and I could feel my face turning paler by the minute. "I set up a bear trap in his tent so that when he steps in.. SNAP! Bye bye foot."
